Yes. And as stated previously, they’re not valid gold sinks anymore. 0.01% of players using them at a cost of 34s isn’t a gold sink.
Before flying when you almost HAD to take them, and gold was hard to come by, it was a valid gold sink. Now a days it isn’t.
Which means that higher, more expensive gold sinks have to exist. Like transmog costs.
That’s the point I’m getting at.
We could start by toning down world quests that pay 3200 gold
In a post-wow token world, the only one who stands to benefit from a “gold sink” is Blizzard.

Idk I think if Blizzard is gonna add gold sinks to the game it should be something that drains large amounts of gold. Like million gold mounts that aren’t time limited. That would be an adequate gold sink, mogging it small potatoes but annoying. The mounts would drain someone’s wallet decently.
Gold sinks need to exist in order to reduce the rates of increas of inflation. If they remove the transmog fees they’ll find another way to make us pay for gold for a necessity if they felt the rates are too high.
Better idea. Transmog the slot not the item.

Well, Ethereals need to buy new bandages, and someone has to clean up all that Yak dung!
Are you really expecting them to do that for free?
Now that is the true answer that would solve everything.
If the barber gets nothing and the flight trainer gets nothing in this economy then yes.
Does the Flight Trainer actually do anything anymore?
I’d actually love if they implemented this. I’m not sure if it would technically work in WoW, but I sure as heck know it’s annoying to get a new piece of gear like a really ugly helm, have to mount on the Yak, and transmog the helm to hidden.

They got put out of a job in this economy! Ethereals can make do with void storage and trial of style items they vendor.

I totally agree. I know gold sinks are good for the game, but this one is super annoying, and I would imagine cost-prohibitive for a new player.
