Call me picky, but I think the red and gold armor on all the lunar mounts clashes with some of them. Looks ok on the Ox, for example because it fits the colors, but really doesn’t go with this.
I get the armor may be that color for a reason, but you could have mounts inspired by the zodiac symbols and still make the colors go together. Would have looked cool with that blue with some silvery armor.
Maybe something similar to the Vicious White Bonesteed/Warsaber mounts would have looked awesome.
Lots of mounts share rigging. Rigging mounts is complicated and there’s no reason to do 30 different skeletons for 30 different cats. It isn’t time efficient, it isn’t game data efficient. There’s probably only like 1-2 different mount skeletons per mount race. It is the only sensible way to do it.
The entire claim that it’s a recolored goo cat makes absolutely zero sense on any level, because the goo cat was never made and it’s literally the Xuen/Ban Lu model.
I don’t know why you people have to pull stuff out of thin air and twist things to make stuff up.
Name an MMORPG that uses 100% new assets every time?
FF14 makes a new thing but uses the same skeleton it is okay.
SWTOR makes the same looking villain every time and that’s okay
EQ 1 and EQ 2 do the same thing and no one bats an eye.
But when WoW does something that uses the same skeleton or is a recolor, then everyone loses their dang mind.
