It's Strange That Earthen Can't Eat

Now you might be thinking, Earthen are robots made of stone, why would they need to eat?

Well, 2 reasons:

1 - Like everything, Earthen need energy to function. And machines, just like us, can extract energy from biomass. That’s what we call “biofuel”.

2 - Ramoliths, the Earthen Rams, eat grass like regular Rams.

They can eat. They eat gems. And Ramoliths eat rocks BTW. Yes, I know about that quest. Some quest designer was not aware of the lore.

Eh. All the reasons given by anyone for anything in this game can be safely of ignored with one simple statement: “Sir, this is a fantasy game”.

There’s zero reason why Gnomes shouldn’t be able to fly for example.

I’m not saying they shouldn’t also eat gems, but it’s a weird design flaw from the Titans to create Earthen and not allow them to extract energy from biomass. You’re just letting energy go to waste.

If the Earthen could eat both gems and food, they could run into a mole while digging, eat the mole, and save the stones to use elsewhere like buildings and machines. You can’t make a house out of dead moles lol

The thought of never truly being able to enjoy the act of consuming as we organics know it is so sad and I cry every time. :frowning:

They can eat. And taste. But Blizzard decided Earthen players can’t for some reason, despite there being lore support. I made a topic on this (which is already being trolled), but may as well post the findings here too.
