It's ridiculous how paranoid you people are

if you are okay with alliance members only tagging and not helping - oops if your friend is okay…

Mostly referring to the absolute meltdown by twatter users when the phrase “free speech” was uttered.

“Build your own twitter” turned into “OMG FASCISM!”

I’m not down with the leftward movement we have going on in society right now. Personally, I believe it’s going too far and I think we are going to look back at this time as a bad time in our history.

That said, I agree with the OP wholeheartedly. First, on the ground of not being pejorative against vulnerable people. And second, on the ground of just not being an a-hole, even to those who are not vulnerable or a part of a marginalized (hate that term, but it’s what we use these days) group.

It should not be hard to be a good sport and be respectful toward others, no matter your political, cultural, or personal background.

But like I said before, for this to work, Blizz has to do it’s part, on many levels and not just with having us “sign this form”.

In fact, most of this working depends on Blizz.

He has no power yet and the deal is on hold, so I don’t see how he’s doing anything some other random richboi couldn’t.

SpaceX is cool, but I can pretty confidently tell you Musk likely has nothing to do with the engineering behind that.

You can sit this one out you know. It’s fine if you don’t understand the topic. No one will hold that against you.

I mean, if Trump could hire people to build a Twitter alternative, I’m sure others can too.

Definitely some truth here.

Wasn’t that a catastrophic failure?

Oh I understand. I just won’t play the game that tries to politicize basic manners, or tries to pretend we have not had the same rules since 2004.

Having consequences for rules people agreed to is not “woke” or bad.

Not everything life has to fit into some sort of internet spin machine.

Not really relevant.
Buying twitter just allows him to weed out the political bias. He doesn’t need to program anything.

Yeah, like Parler? Or GAB? That have hordes of psychos going after their host and shutting them down?

I have no idea.

You have no power in this situation. You can show all the obvious flaws of blizz on the internet but literally no one will care after a point. After which your moral high ground loses any relevance because said wrong doers are no longer an impact on current operations.

If you say so, I have reason to doubt that.

I’m not entirely convinced that’s actually even a thing.

I have all the power, I can stop paying them, lol.

They haven’t had a dime from me for the last year. Connections are fun.

If they’re not getting it from you, they’re getting extra from someone else.

I think an employee code is the one exception I can say otherwise.

That doesn’t matter to addicts.
