This would probably make things worse lol

At lower mmr yeah. If ur super high mmr in blitz and u queue at 5 am you will eventually get a pop but the lobby will randomly be 100+mmr below you so you are at risk of losing a lot and gaining little.

Ye last time I tried shuffling on my lock during primetime I sat a 42 min q haha. This is why a lot of the shufflers make multiple accounts and queue on them at the same time.

Healers queues are fast tho(prob cuz no1 wants to heal that aids bracket)

Mentally ill projection Andy back at it again!

Nope, they call them degen hours. Queues begin to die around there and they don’t always go to 5 am. Right now anyone that is 3200+ there’s little reason to queue and the bracket is still being pushed up through alts and increasing unique players.

Depends if healers are playing at the moment. Around 7pm they’re relatively quick, like 10mins. Queues pop all day and they can be up to 40mins if you’re playing at a really off time like 10am.

It really depends on the ladder activity while you’re playing. 3’s queues are the same way, but way more dead.

Seth had several 20 minute queues at 3300mmr on a tuesday night lol, the bracket is super active there is no way around it.

Yup, queues are really good right now. The bracket is a lot of fun right now and this is honestly what a healthy bracket looks like. I usually play shuffle a bit until BGB queues start popping and I ride them out until like midnight, which is usually when I hit the sack  :sleeping_bed:

Overall this season has been great and BGB has been a great addition to the game.

All it took was 1200 extra free artificial mmr

funny how it’s always about cr instead of the content

The top of shuffle actually cannot play the game unless meepmonk is online. In 3s you fight the same 3 teams at 2k. Idk if i really enjoy bgb but it has a ton of people playing it, cant imagine its for any other reason than its freelo. Kind of puts any mystery to what gets people playing to rest but seems to be a lot of differing opinions. Idk ggs shrug

I actually don’t mind when lower MMR healers are thrown into the mix anymore. Yesterday some guy was flaming the healer and I caught myself defending him mentioning that everyone has a bad game.

I just like playing the game and the faster queues are the better.

Who knows. Everyone likes things for different reasons. The bracket is well designed tho with the way the speed boost you get while mounted is a good addition, and the flags get reset and you have to recap them. The original mount speed boost was a bit weird, but they tuned it to where it feels good.

Bgs always been more attractive. Now people got a reason to play it even more.

Yeah until next season when they nuke mmr :dracthyr_a1: Kind of like how shuffle went from the best thing ever to lame literally just because they slowly decreased the amount of freebie rating available from it

I dunno. I like it now that it’s a little tougher to push. I feel like shuffle is in a decent spot inflation wise. 3s I’m not so sure. I see almost exclusively multiglads 2100-2300 and their alts around 1900-2000. Also relatively new to pushing 3s so I’m not sure if this is normal.

Makes sense cuz they’re going to get glad again, unless you and your friends can get the mount you can every everything else 500x easier in blitz rn so

I legit could care less about Blitz. I enjoy 3s way more. Sadly linking up with everyone when I can actually use voice and focus on the game without having to run mid session is the hardest part about it

In blitz/bgs intermediate progress is way easier to track than in arena. It requires far more game knowledge to track specific CDs than to look at some number at the top of your screen, especially in shuffle when healer mana isn’t really a lose condition. Classic is more intuitive because damage tends to stick more, and there are less instant cast heals so that you can see the cause of someone’s HP going up.

The in-game tools to understand wins/losses in arena are also non-existent. No replay feature, no Blizzard details equivalent. I don’t think you can expect a game mode with a steep learning curve, low payouts for tournaments, and no in-game support to overcome the learning curve to be popular.

No it isn’t these games are legit coinflips until like 2700 where people start to become sentient

Not talking about whether you win or lose, I’m talking about understanding at some level why you won or lost. Even 1500 players can tell that they’re losing an AB/WSG halfway through.

No, they can’t. :dracthyr_hehe_animated: There’ll be 7 people sitting on defense in a 2500 mmr wsg. They’ll lose, have no idea and just press queue again. It’s like shuffle where you don’t have to be nice or learn anything to get to play.

They can just look at the top of the screen my dude. If they capped the last flag they’ll know they’re in the lead. I’m not talking about understanding optimal strategies, I’m talking about having some tracking of current progress.

The people who turtle D then get the FC one shot by Seth also learn that turtling is a bad strat.
