It's okay to cater to "casuals"

That’s a pretty low bar for stating it’s fanboying.

Weird, because if you click on it, it takes you to the WoWhead link for that achievement, where it says “Attained by 52% of profiles”. 10% is a pretty significant difference, but I’m a little surprised it’s even that high.

Gotta wonder how many people did an arena match just to pick up that easy achieve and then never set foot in arena again. I, myself, haven’t done arenas since Season 2 in BC…

lmao
see if you can keep up lmao.
I played a LOT.
I wanted ALL the classes and ALL the professions BEFORE BFA went live and didnt have enough time to do it all.
So I paid for 11 boosts and started working on it.
There…were you able to keep up?

and now youre going to the ignore list for wasting my time

Blizzard does nothing but cater to casuals…
What are you smoking dude?

The fact you can get the fated mount from normal. M+ gear that almost rivals mythic raiders for 1/10th the effort.

Participation trophies for everyone!

I started in legion it was pretty good as far as content goes.
But it took me a while to get my first character to Legion because I was playing different classes trying to find what i wanted to play.
Got to legion with a goblin warrior and a goblin rogue.

Working up thru the content the game was really amazing overall.
Then I hit WoD and nearly quit playing entirely.
Its like a freight train hit a dumpster fire and WoD was the result.
Ive got friends who suck as GMs who do a better job at putting game material together.
If Legion hadnt been much better i dont think id have kept playing the game.

WoD, then BFA and now SLs is where this game left a lot of us behind.

I would not suppose that a high percentage of players regularly engage in rated arenas.

Participation may go up in DF with pvp gearing changes.

I hated the WQs. Those damn nested WQs. They need to go back to Legion/BFA WQs and delete the nested ones.

No one, no matter what part of this game they play likes the Maw. A place where you had to earn even being able to mount that didn’t have much to do in it until Korthia… might as well not exist.

They are luckily sort of bringing back archaeology in DF. They are just quests now instead of an actual profession. But from what I gather from Wowhead, there will be rewards.

DF seems pretty nice so far for solo or casual play. At least from all appearances so far.

You couldn’t pay me enough to play a tank anymore. All the group requests. Ugh.

Gross.

I have never once gotten a random group request and I run around as prot more often than not because it’s easier to complete world content as a tank than as Ret. And anytime I tank for guild groups it’s normally because I offered not because I was asked.

Lucky. I used to only level as tank specs. I mainly did Brewmaster Monk until DH came out and with DH I started out as Tank spec as well. I enjoyed it and it did what I wanted, but every tank character I played ran the risk of getting random whispers to run group content.

I’m guessing it was likely prompted by political discussions in trade chat, because that’s mostly all I was doing when the invites would roll in.

Yes yes yes! I’d love to see more content added in:

Battle pets
Unrated PvP
World PvP
Exploration
Reputation
Roleplay opportunities (Cross faction, housing, etc)

These things wouldn’t take away from hardcore players. They would just help us all have something new to do! :purple_heart:

The problem is, Blizz acts like they can’t make enough fun content for everyone, and that leads to this misconception they can’t, it’s not that they can’t, they don’t want to.

Instead they try to push people into the forms of content they want to develop and if you don’t like that content then well, guess your options are deal with minimal content or leave.

A possible flipside is that they make some for everyone, but it is not enough according to the loudmouths of any of them. The Loudmouths then demand more content which sends the discussion spiraling downward.

Then there is the fact they might make enough content for everyone, but certain groups serve as “gatekeepers” to others, effectively locking them out of content. If not that, then those groups are “toxic” to those not among them.

There could be many more players interested in M+, raiding, etc but they get turned off because the barrier, while actually low (just need a key for M+ and possibly a minimum of gear for raiding( is artificially high because people have the unrealistic expectation that everyone who does the content is like them.

Blizzard really needs to bring downvote back to the forums.

Took a few days to find that meme I guess.
