Now its published, the January 11 “balance update” is set as finished.
Wich one of you guys has pissed off the devs? Reveal yourself and apologize. Maybe one of you own them some money. IDK i’m trying to explore other options since theres no reasonable logic for this balance update doesn’t give destro any buffs.

Couldnt agree more…to see Blizzard rolling out much needed buffs and yet somehow missing destro? I mean seriously what is the fricken deal?! Blizzard just DOES NOT want to deal with the warlock class 4 reasons unknown? Come on some dev chime in here 4 once and give us a decent explanation. i mean i could at least have some angle to look at your side of things; cause at this point I can see no reason why we were not buffed. THIS is the class and spec i want to play but you are making it nigh impossible to compete. Our stun is pathetic, our silence has a massive CD and is dependent on a specific pet. Our biggest DPS window is hung on a 3 minute infernal so anything getting in that window and we r burned. lol jesus even our voidwalker which use to be tanky and could pull threat off a real tank is now a wet noodle that couldn’t hold threat to save our lives. You remove our strongest pvp snare and give us 3 curses which r ok and all but id give back all 3 of them 4 that snare back! I’ve had to roll affliction just to keep up in raids, and fyi I HATE AFFLICTION, but destro just doesnt have the #'s to be viable; and in mythic pluses AFF is just the worst. So yeah I could keep going on but whats the point? PROVE ME WRONG DEVS! Chime in here…give us some input or options…something anything!

Me and everyone else say a lot of stuff and theorize as to why our class has become this bad, but in addition to all the speculation. The devs are just being incompetent and hiding behind company shenanigans instead of fixing the problem.

Its the punish mentality lol, last tier Destro was S tier in pve/pvp content (not M+) and now we are being punished for it 
I heard we locks don’t have a class DEV like other classes do. Our covenant abilities and specs are designed by some random DEVS who never played locks.
So yeah. They simply don’t know how weak destro/demo are at the moment and the worse part is that, they probably don’t give a dime about it.
I would believe this. The punishment we have received for picking venthyr is disgusting. I sincerely do not believe we have anyone of any intelligence playing warlock who has an understanding of the class. It’s disgusting

I can’t confirm 100% this but i remember the last warlock leaving the class development some years ago and people comenting that they doesn’t have any dev warlock player anymore.
This probably is true considering that all the class changes on shadowlads was made by youtubers and streamers, like when kalamazi shout a list with around 10+ suggestion and they implemented all, even with the same text.
Kalamazi did a good job, i think he saved affliction in beta btw. He coldn’t save destruction tho. Since the lasts nerfs pre launch, destruction never leaved the bottom of the dps charts.
there’s a total of like 3 or 4 class devs. MOST of the classes in this game don’t have a dedicated dev. thats why systems are so in depth and classes are propped up by systems.
Been thinking the same thing. I think they are doing this on purpose because they want people to play affliction. They put all that work into it and don’t want to see people ignore it. So technically to be viable we are forced to play 1 of 3 specs.
I tried to run destro for the first time since BFA, as I have been running affliction since the start of SL. It feels ridiculously weak. even with inferno my CBs were hitting for right around what I hit with MR, which can be used on multiple targets and has less than half the cast time. Spec needs real help.
Didn’t the last Dev that left Blizzard make a YouTube video saying their isn’t specific class Devs anymore?, isn’t it just a bunch of Devs trying to make all classes/specs work?? The video was put up last year and he disagreed how classes were being handled
Its looking like my warlock will just be used for world questing and farming old content this expansion.
they did it in a patch waaaaaay back ago. And it changed nothing.
