Please just listen to the overwhelming community responses regarding the time frame between pre-patch and release. It’s not too late to make a course correction on this:
“Dear community, we have always valued your opinions on decisions we make and understand you are our clients and fans. Regarding the overwhelming community comments on our TBC release date and its proximity to the pre-patch, we have elected to push the release date to June XX, 2021.” - fixed

Their second quarter is coming up, gotta get all the money in as soon as possible to prove they’re doing financially well (which I don’t think delaying it by a single week would be bad).
You mean all 20 of them? Out of 2,000,000 players? That is not an “overwhelming community response”. That is “far less complaints than Blizzard usually gets for ANY decision”.
And yes, it IS too late to change it. And no, this is not a player-run game or a Minsqq-run game.
Was there any response that wasn’t about what that player personally planned to do (like level up a new Blood Elf to max, and gear it up BEFORE the TBC launch date)? Blizzard doesn’t attempt to match every person’s personal plans.
