These puzzling cartel chips aka dinars are more of a bad luck protection vs the normal s4 for fun dinars we had.
A valid critism for the current dinars is why cant we get dungeon trinkets which i think would be a much more fair argument.
But as it stands the way they have this set is fine and good for a normal season. If anything it incentives people to get into mythic raiding which i highly recommend

I am fine not getting a mythic trinket but then we can get a heroic one from LFR so what is the logic?
If anything it incentivizes people to buy a carry because they will 100% get the best item possible and it will be much more useful to them than a mythic raider who already killed the boss

Heroic players will 100% buy a clear just so they can be eligible for the better loot.
Even if they aren’t clearing Mythic, they’ll still be able to gear up as if they did lol.
Just gotta buy at least one carry to be able to outgear all the heroic raiders.
The amount of ilvl growth in this game is getting out of hand, we used to have 26 ilvls per season and I thought that was too much but now we have 45 ilvls in a single season.
Being given a flat out 6 ilvl boost midseason is already turning it into a meme season, sorry.
yea thats not going to happen. it will just incentivize boosting considering if you arnt already in a ce guild then its probably to late to get into one.
The message is clear: don’t bother subscribing until 4 months into the patch, we will nerf everything so much that you will be able to do MORE than people who played the season early with significantly less effort.
We will also have corruptions. And an 18% raid nerf soon enough. Lol

It really is just a soft reset of all prog at this point, 6 ilvls when most m+ groups arent even 675 out of the potential 678 yet is a massive boon ontop of corruption coming adding another 3-4% damage increase. Player power version of s2 dragonflight where the season got reset halfway through via the scaling giga nerf
Nobody else? Everybody else gets heroic, which is parity for m+/heroic players and an even better deal for LFR/normal players.
Hardly anyone boosts besides already title or Ce/HoF raiders to get gear for alts. And most boosts are heroic. So in the end it mostly encourages people to try mythic raiding
