They have already said that Dragonflight is just 1 part of the series. There would be multiple of these on the series.

Look at Drachthyr… a race with only Evokers. They would add more classes on that race… on future expansions on the same series.

That’s called “planning”. If they WEREN’T looking ahead to further expansions, if they didn’t have a roadmap showing where the game was going after DF, then I’d be concerned.

Of course they already are working on 11.0

Same as DF was already in development on SL Launch

I wish they would’ve taken the “no big baddies” or at least “limited power baddies” route after WotLK, with something completely different standing in place of Cataclysm. They should’ve saved taking down the Burning Legion for the end of the game so we wouldn’t have had to go through the weirdness of going to the afterlife and uprooting the order of the universe as we had known it.

They’ve always done that, OP. A couple xpacs back they literally said they had the next 5 expansions lined up already. They’re a business, they’re always planning ahead.
