When I go on vacation or across the country to see family or something leaving my cat with my roommate, he’ll get depressed and hide under the blanket on my bed and sometimes won’t even come out to eat without my roommate nudging him to do so. Once they’ve chosen you it’s a crazy strong bond.

My cat will only eat when the family sits down at the table for meals.
If she loses track of one of us she cries til we call her. She is very bonded to our family.

I’m on a mission now to find a picture of my cutie. Whenever I took her home from college she would sit at the table with us waiting for her plate. It was hilarious. She would meow at us if we ignored her. She literally just sat there looking pissed.
