Except that’s not what happened.
What’s really frustrating is that, for years, people explained their ACTUAL problems with titanforging, and Blizzard eventually listened.
But instead of reading what other players were saying, and their legit gripes with titanforging, people just write their own script of “people didn’t like titanforging BECAUSE THEY HATE ME” which is nonsense.
There’s simply no discussing with this level of bad faith.
Yup and ion basically said M+ loot is the way it is and STAYING mostly the same way it is because he doesn’t want the game to die outside of raid nights.

Nah I don’t think that was it. Couple people listed other reasons, and there was a lot of “I can never actually finish gearing.”
Which is funny because Ion doesn’t even raid anymore. He finally made raiding so bad, that not even he would do it.

Some people liked titan forging. And they removed it because screw those guys. Blizz didn’t really compensate the people that liked it for example.
You seem to think it’s OK for you to draw your own conclusions to suit your agenda, but get outraged if I draw my own from the available data.

who and why would you like this feature that was so lazily done. like they could’ve at least gave us a currency or something to titanforge with a socket something.
No, that’s not what happened. But you don’t seem to be interested in hearing about the actual reasons.
Not only would it die outside of raid nights it would die altogether. It would be the final death spiral of the game.
Good news! If you fail to time a M+ dungeon you get a choice of up to THREE items from the GV, and they all automatically titanforge above the ilvl of the M+ you did.
Hows that for awesome compensation?
Loved it. Made me actually look forward to opening the chest at the end of a dungeon, every time.
Never really got anything save for once or twice, but it was at least exciting. Hell I even got hyped for world quests with trinket rewards. Maybe… juuuuuust maybe… nope.
Let’s be honest, he never truly raided. He was always carried.

people are loving this season with alts, or fresh characters. it’s so easy to get geared and fully be able to experience your class.
Correlation does not imply causation

They listened to the people that felt “compelled” to run nighthold repeatedly for a low drop chance trinket upgrade.
Not the people who liked getting a good strong piece occasionally from questing, or a dungeon. It was a luck based system. Like winning the loto. But yea they just took it out.
Nobody was doing that. Come on.
Killing Withered Jim? Sure.
Apparently it does if you are trying to argue “raids = bad”.

This is the first time I have played an alt since the beginning of legion.
