Good ol’ Southeastern US reporting in with a balmy 51F/11C. You can keep your snow, we can’t drive in it anyway

Why do you live in a place where the wind hurts you?

This title is offensive as the song is also offensive. Silly.

You guys getting a lot of snow in Canada? I’m pretty close by and we’re getting what we call a bit of a snow storm.

I’m in Winnipeg, where it’s a nice -30C/-22F. If you use parka degrees (and you should), that’s 25C/70F.

See, this is why I couldn’t survive in Canada. I Iove Montreal and Quebec… but the cold will kill me. :slightly_frowning_face:

I just walked down to the store and it’s 18F and -7C, I think. Getting some good snow, but not enough, only about a foot over all.

/pulls nearest poster to his chest

I’m cold too :frowning:

googles -35 C in F

Yeah its -22 where I am close to Ottawa

Why did thread get locked?

People sayd the title is offensive because of a 1950 song

I’m supposed to go to Ottawa later this year. I wanted to come when the Senators would be playing at home but being a Southerner I don’t want to deal with your extreme snow! Plus the Sens would probably lose anyway :frowning:

I don’t follow sports so wouldn’t know how they were faring anyways.

As for snow, we’ve gotten a lot less than usual this year. Snow sucks, the cold sucks and winter sucks.

What’s silly is people going out of their way to be offended by everything humanly possible.
