It's BS we can't exchange a keystone outside of the end of an m+

I swear to Thrall, at the end of almost every single m+ dungeon that I run, I forget to click the pandaren girl to swap out my stupid key for something else that isn’t a torture dungeon that I hate.

Yes, I want to run my own key.

No, I do not want to run my own key if it’s Siege of Boralus or Dawnbreaker.

You go talk to Lindormi in Dornagol - Nothing. She can downgrade your key and tell you where 4 of the dungeons are. That’s it.

And tell me if I’m wrong but didn’t she let you exchange your key out last expansion??? In Valdrakken. She was standing next to the portal to timeways there too.

Ridiculous.

She has only allowed you to lower it or given you one if you didn’t acquire it from your vault or a dungeon when outside of a M+ instance.

She did not let you exchange your key for a different dungeon of the same level. She just offered to downgrade it.

This is something that should be able to be done. Have it give a small 15min buff that even after you finish the dungeon, you can at least still exchange it outside at her location in that buff timer. That small bit of forgetfulness can really bit, especially in a group and 3 of you have the same key but want to run something different.

Other idea would be after completion then you have until you log out to exchange the key as well. I would love it if I could exchange my key for a higher one if I completed another key at a higher level on time, so I wouldn’t be stuck with a +3 after having done 5 7s in a row but that’s a whole different issue.

Just ran a +7 and my key is a +9

… It wont let me exchange the key.

Wtf ?

You can only exchange a key of an equal or lower level to the level of the dungeon.

I have ran plenty of +9s for crying out loud lmao this system sucks

Then run a +9 and you can exchange your keystone. The system is a vast improvement over the state in SL, where the only way to get a reroll was to complete your dungeon.

Yeah, it’s bad game design that you can’t remember to exchange your key in the dungeon.

Okay well. I’m so glad the grand ole wise and hallowed masters at blizzard finally let up on one of their insanely stubborn ideas of what constitutes fun in this game and made things a little tiny bit more convenient but still made sure to keep it as an opaque and punishing system as much as possible.

I like run-on sentences today.

Yeah, things that are frustrating in a game thats supposed to be relaxing is bad game design lmao.
