I get that massive amounts of people all trying to log in at once can cause problems, but it always seems like big streamers get priorities and never have to go through the BS the rest of us do.

It’s not a coincidence. Getting asmongold in is probably like paying 5 mil in advertising. Would you force asmon in or let a random casual in? Be realistic.

I’m not a streamer. I just logged in an hour before the expansion was to drop and chilled. Now I’m well on my way into the start of Shadowlands.
From an outsider like us it seems unfair. To them it’s just business it’s advertising and even bad advertising make some money.
However this is good advertising and I don’t even watch streams

I did that too, i lot of people did, but unlike you, tons of players got DC right before the launch. you just got luck
You do know that there are several people within blizzard that do not all have a favorable view of asmon.
I don’t have a favorable view of Asmongold. Something about him just irritates me. It’s mostly because he streams with his mouth open as if he physically can’t shut it ever. Lazy jaw syndrome.
I don’t know much about streamers because I think they’re all stupid but I would imagine that being a clown on the internet as part of your income would mean that you probably invested in a top end gaming PC and the best internet possible.
Streamers probably get upgraded to backup servers while we’re forced to deal with toaster servers. Gotta keep the “content creators” happy.

That’s not how the world works. You spend more money in a restaurant, they will treat you better than the guy sitting there for the free water and complimentary bread.
I wish I was playing lag free like him too but if I were Blizzard I’d make sure everyone on the front page of Twitch was in as best as I could. They bring in hella revenue.
I also did this. Got DC’d an hour before launch and cant get in with everyone else. Not all of us were irresponsible with our time.

I would like to know since I been looking for ways to connect to my SQL servers faster, do i need to upgrade my keyboard or download more ram?

How exactly does Blizzard get “hella” revenue from people watching Asmongold? I’d have to see the actual numbers on how many subs these big Twitch streamers bring in.
