Im having a blast and might even just edit some pvp videos i made along the way. My professions are around 200 and first aid almost maxed
this, people who have been playing casually since the start are roughly lvl 40 right now

It’s baffling how many unemployed people play this.
I see people online literally all day.
I go on at 530am before work for an hour and they’re on.
I go on at 4pm after work they’re still on.
11pm I logoff, they’re still on.
It’s actually sickening.

My apologies if my comment was taken as something offensive. I was being sarcastic. Not trying to put anyone down at all. Guess I’m just old… I recall the days of being mocked relentlessly for not playing all day every day. You were a loser if you had any kind of life outside the game. I was responding in jest.
Again, I apologize for offending. I should know by now that sarcasm doesn’t always come through in text.
Because by ‘casually’, you assume a person must be putting in a set number of hours each day, focused solely on leveling. It depends what the definition of ‘casual’ is, though. For me, and I consider myself a casual player, it means you play the game casually. You’re not always on every single day, you’re not always logging a set number of hours of game play each day. I log in, when I feel like it, and when I don’t, I don’t play. And most of the past week (of the mere two weeks it has been out), there was a holiday in there and I didn’t get much game time in. So sure, I’m behind others. Big deal. We’re two weeks in, and I don’t have my mount yet. Big deal 
Who cares?
All I asked is if others were enjoying the new servers or not- if they were enjoying the game. I assume most are, but, I was just starting as conversation. Guess I know not to do that anymore

I went into it wanting to do this but I’m being forced to take my time anyway because the mob respawns are awful and everything is farmed out lol

I hear that, and yeah, if there’s one thing I dislike about fresh servers, it’s this. Launch night took me over 2 hours just to get out of Northshire due to mob competition. It’s gotten a bit better as I’ve leveled, but some quests do take a while because of this.
On the flip side, mobs that are heavily farmed, people are usually pretty willing to group up to help. So I’d just ask somebody else farming the same mobs if they want to group. If I hadn’t been doing that I’d still be level 10
For sure. I have two characters, both 19 and enjoying a “chill” approach to playing the game!

Conversely, I totally no-lifed it over Thanksgiving break and am only level 26.
I’ve been doing a lot of profession stuff though, and working on alts as well. I have 2 level 10’s a level 7, and a couple others just basically to reserve names, but all of them have good progress on professions for their levels.

So, I’m assuming your just at the lowly level of 56 or something (that’s usually how these posts end lol).
I agree, I’m level 25 and that’s with going back and forth between classic and retail 
I agree, in 2019 classic, SoM, and returning to era I always leveled feral and went hard.
This time leveling Boomkin and honestly loving it. Slower yes, funner when nukes drop xD

I’ve been playing what I consider quite a lot, but still taking my time between doing professions and messing with alts instead of just straight rushing leveling.
I’m currently lvl 35. I have 300 cooking and skinning/LW/First-aid/Fishing over 200. Plus two lvl 11s and a lvl 10, not that those take a ton of time to get there.
The real casual struggle is when you can only login to play for 30m at a time, and you don’t know whether it’s even worth Hearthing to log out in an inn because you’ll lose XP from taking longer to get back to your questing spot.

I don’t often speak with Hordies, but when I do I order fries.
I started about 5 days ago and enjoying it a lot. First time playing horde and Shaman on classic. Doing all the zones its fun. I’m actually level 19 though not sure why it says 12.
