It's been a while, we still alive here?

So wanted to see if things are still alive and will in the world of TBC Classic.

If so what server would you recommend for a new start?

We’re still alive.

Come to Windseeker.

It depends a little on what you’d like to get out of the game, imo. We have a pretty active Dungeon Leveling community on Faerlina, Horde, if that’s of interest to you:

You’re going to want to pick one of the mega servers. It’s too risky to choose a medium pop server. Benediction is a safe bet.

Pick one of the mega servers if you want to be able to do anything at all. Game is dead outside a couple of servers.

Don’t believe the doomer trolls. I’m not on a mega server and there are tons of people still playing. Doing SSC pugs on my alt and Gruul/Mag/Kara pugs are forming up daily.

Yea I mean I’m on faerlina and even with a pretty small remaining alliance faction I’m able to do most things pretty easily. Groups go together pretty easily, I see pugs for all raids pretty regularly (I’m not geared enough for most of them yet) and chats are still booming. I think if people would stop fear transferring to mega servers we’d all be totally fine. A 4K population is more than enough to make the world feel alive.

Blizzard appears to have slow cooked the player base back into accepting a massive amount of layering because this is TBCC and not Vanilla Classic. Mass player migrations to a handful of servers has been the trend the last few months.

The game is alive but the community around classic servers is dead. Your 3 major options for PvP servers are Faerlina (mostly horde), Benediction (mostly ally) as your 2 east coast timezone servers, and Whitemane seems to be the stand out on the west coast.

Clearly a crap game If you can’t get off the wow forums.

pve horde - mankrik.
pve alliance - pagle.

mega servers or bust.

another wowkiller.
yawn

Yeah except it did.

WoW isn’t on top anymore and probably won’t be for the foreseeable future. FFXIV passed up WoW a few months ago

I think they will heft their resources into SOM after giving it one last go in WOTLK classic

If you aren’t endgame it’s ded. Rip levelers.
Give us TBC SoM.

It’s the only chance they have of retaining a WoW audience after wrath ends.

SoM is a great idea if they didn’t push the idea so soon after TBC came out and split the playerbase. I won’t even go into Retail cause that ship has been sinking for years and the only people who play it are whales who worship bobby kotick’s and pay for his yacht
