It's An MMO"RP"G (Examples Wanted!)

The amount of ignorance that people uphold about the meaning behind “what it means to be Role-Playing”, in an MMO"RP"G; is the reason why people are so unimaginative and bring others down for RPing. You literally can’t play an MMO"RP"G or "RP"G without some form a role-playing. Now role-playing doesn’t have to be text based lore, that’s centered around your character or only walking everywhere. It’s about whoever you want to be or act in the game. Here are some examples of everyday Role-Playing

Role-Playing is about getting to know your class and learning the role of what it means to be that class and be good at playing the role/class.

Role-Playing is going to a local fishing spot to hang out with others; fishing and talking.

Role-Playing is going out of your way to help a friendly or enemy, or maybe the complete opposite.

Role-Playing is camping redridge at 60 and full filling the role of the dishonorable no lifer.

Role-Playing is getting 200 other people together to take over a capital city.

Role-Playing is the Leroy Jenkins video, at it’s finest.

Role-Playing is being a good friend at 60 and going through low level dungeons to help level an IRL friend or guildie.

Role-Playing is the being the guy everyone knows about, who will reck you in a duel or does top dps in most raids.

Role-Playing is buffing anyone you cross paths with.

Role-Playing is producing your own end game fun events and making dueling tournaments or playing hide-and-seek.

Role-Playing is leveling up a druid in Balance; because it’s the role you want to play.

Role-Playing is picking the race you want to play, over what’s expected of you to play, for improved racial abilities.

Role-Playing is ninja’ing loot and full filling the role of piece of trash; who gets black listed from the community.

From my experience with RP-PvP and PvP servers; their is really no difference at all, but having a more friendly and imaginative community, with the RP-PvP servers. A community who is open minded for player drivin content and events. People saying your a nerd for RPing is the most arrogant hypocritical nonsense I’ve ever heard and people should step back and just let people enjoy the game; how they want to play it. Why do people always make fun of things they don’t understand?

Having a blast on Herod BTW. Role-Playing my druid class and becoming the best I can be; to help fullfill support role, for those who need me in future.

Thanks for reading and I hope you can all understand that anyone who plays any MMO"RP"G or "RP"G; is performing some form of RPing, to certain extent.

You know, I never thought I was an RPer until a hunter I use to fight with called me one when I claimed he couldn’t take over ‘my town’ of Ironforge. I do just about everything on your list, I am a RPer apparently! Lol.

That’s right! And that’s okay and I’m glad you understand it. Many more examples, have fun out there

In fact, I use to play a “Punisher” on my server any time someone attacked an Alliance zone. I could tell you from world defense screaming what location in the world they were at by the name and typically could get out there within minutes from anywhere (druid engineer). I even documented it in videos and my word press site. Ha, I’m such a RP dork ^ ^

That’s sweet. We need more players like you. I’m all about the Wpvp role play and storming to the crys of friendly enemy call outs.
