It's amazing to me

That the new tier sets do absolutely nothing for Glacial Spike. As a matter of fact, it’s still worthless and useless, and to not be chosen. If you choose Glacial Spike, it’s actually a DPS loss. I mean, where is the harm in also INCLUDING Glacial Spike onto a tier set bonus stat for once? So what… no we go from spamming Ice lance, to perhaps not spamming ice lance? Oh, wow! How neat! And, this doesn’t touch the fact that (currently at the time of writing), the new tier bonuses are a step below. It has you wanting to ignore ice lances, while even the 4-piece goes against its own grain, and can just be ignored.

It’s absolutely mind boggling to me now. I don’t care if they do, or don’t, check these forums, but holy moly. Not a SHRED of any postive changes or attributes toward the upcoming patches, while other classes have paragraphs worth of info.

I don’t get it. I just simply do not understand how Mages are able to express their concerns month, after month, after month, after month, and quite sincerely NOTHING significant gets touched on or reworked yet. Keep sucking on the copium, because I’m done. You can have my god *** damn supply dude. I say I don’t care, but deep down, I do because this is the class I’ve been with since TBC.

Just want our turn please, and our concerns raised by just some sort of actual communication. We live in 2023, and it feels like it just ain’t it. It shouldn’t be this ****ing hard to TALK.

This is the center of problem here besides lack of tuning. There is no way to communicate with devs or have them interact.

You can post endlessly, you can @warcraft devs on twitter but there is no 2 way communication. “Hey we hear you, here is what we have planned, were looking for feedback on this”

Its simply tuning pass after tuning pass of neglect and radio silence with zero way to interact. Here is what we made and this is what you get end of discussion.

Very disappointing

I’m stunned that they even remembered to give Mages tier bonuses for 10.1 in the first place. It’s quite a step forward.

there used to be a way but it was just filled with people constantly complaining and the devs decided it wasnt productive to read through them.

With the level of those tier bonuses might as well not have.

I keep wondering who was even using that in the first place.
None of the top guilds have it in their guides, no one ever had it in their spec when I looked, no one ever said a word of it until it was going to be nerfed.

If one does a little research they can find out why it wasn’t used for pve.
Did not realize this was about pvp, sorry.
Although I never did specify either and it is still too slow a cast to be in a tift over

Edited because I understand I was mistaken.

You mean [Glacial Spike]? The nerf was for PvP only, so that’s why you see no one in PvE using it: because it’s bad and actually a damage loss over not talenting into it.

Either one I don’t see anyone using it.
Of course I don’t seem to see many other Frost mages either.
Was this an arena or rated thing?
I honestly only do the random stuff in the group finder, because I am not the best pvp mage by far lol.

Takes too long to cast for the way I play when I pvp and what I am used to.

Sucks to lose things that one was using for a while.
