It's almost as if Blizzard wants their competition to win

Seven months for this content patch to appear. And when it does arrive, it’s broken. Various things, by themselves, would be frustrating but maybe tolerable. As an aggregate, they seem to say something about the new expectation for quality of Blizzard products. (Along with other fiascos in that area? Warcraft III anyone?)

· The Great Vault was handing out loot SEVERAL item levels lower to players than it should have been. Who knows why, but the hundreds of thousands of players who were jilted out of the fruits of their labors need to have this be made right.

Has Blizzard announced a fix? Nope, not really… You have to open a ticket. Come to them. Apply for a correction and wait to find out if they care to fix anything. Doesn’t matter that they broke the rules of their own game. (And ban players who happen to do so, even accidentally) Doesn’t matter that being able to open a ticket was made more difficult to do in the first place. Doesn’t matter that a lot of these employees don’t bother to read what the actual problem is before they mark your issue as “resolved” in the hopes you’ll just go away.

· Korthia - I’ve killed elites, plural, and not seen any progress on the horribly long progress bar for “disrupting the Jailer’s efforts.” WHY am I even going to this zone if I cannot progress there?

· This morning my transmog was missing on my character. I had to spend gold to reapply it. Why? Who knows? It just seems like another indication of where things are at in the present game.

· Excessive lag and bugginess.

· A friend was standing right next to me. She could see me. I couldn’t see her. So we couldn’t play together.

· Oh by the way… Have they bothered to update the Dark Iron Dwarf racial, the Mole Machine, yet? Nope.

I have been playing since Wrath. Blizzard once built a rep on making stuff that just works. And when it didn’t work they would make it right. It seems like they want their competition to get ahead of themselves and are throwing the fight, now.

Odd, I have had pretty much the complete opposite experience so far in 9.1. No lag, no disconnects and outside of the issue with the great vault I haven’t had any game related issues either. It has actually been a pretty smooth experience for me. I am not saying that it is the same for everyone but then your experience isn’t the same for everyone either.

It’s meant to be a weeklong quest… just do the dailies and you’ll be done with it in 4 days or so.

You can finish it the first day if you really try. I did and a lot of others have as well. Just super tedious and requires a lot of chest hunting.

It wouldnt be the first time Ive seen someone intentionally tank their product/service.
I doubt thats the case with WoW, but there are good financial reasons to do it in a lot of cases. maybe not here…or maybe…

This feels like a game that is trying to murder sub counts so they can switch over to free-to-play. I hope that is not the case because taking a gamble like that on a game that has been a sub service since forever is a bad move to make just to implement a better shop.

It was laggy mess for my whole guild.

The assault in the Maw gives a big boost to the meter but everything else is a lot slower. Bosses 5% and chests are 3%.

Did you try to loot the Vault on Tuesday? How did that go for you?

You seem to be glossing over the fact that it isn’t working as intended.

I had to hearth out and come back in order for my progress bar to start moving at all again.

Got it done in two days. Thats six dailies and whatever rares/treasures I came across doing that.

By the way, take a look at my profile pic. That is apparently the result of my transmog just randomly breaking.

I was just commenting on the one part of your post. Have not had that issue on any of my peeps so far.

Learn2play. Play higher keys or play higher difficulty raid to get upgrades on the Vault. And you could have 3 options so that the RNG would be on your side. FYI, the vault is generous. It gave me 23 consecutive weeks of all upgrades. Now, I am ilevel 223. If you keep on playing M+2 with only 2 dungeons completed every week, good luck.

Learn2play. It’s not Korthia that dictates the ilevel of World PvE loots. It’s your Renown level particularly 46, 61 and 75.

Learn2play. If you replaced a gear with a new one, the new one would have a new transmog. If you dont want to re-transmog, then dont replace any of your gear.

Seriously, what is with people just not reading posts before they respond to them? Clearly if you had, you would have noticed that I pointed out that the one game related bug I experienced was the Great Vault.

Assaults give like 25%, but Quests give like 10-15% I believe

That’s weird because it seems as if WoW has completely overtaken the competition and are back in their rightful #1 spot.

Assaults give 25%. Maw rares give 3%. Maw rares that are marked with a star give 0%! Maw daily and weekly quests give 5% each. Korthia quests give 8% each. Korthia rares give 3% or maybe 6% idk.

Something something time played metrics.

So…gotta ask. And be honest, here. Are you trolling, or incapable of reading? The rewards that SHOULD HAVE BEEN 226 were often 216 or lower. The rewards were lower than intended. Blizzard phased the entire great vault out of the game for a day to fix it, but people kinda just autopiloted and took rewards that were lower ilvl. Now, Blizzard isn’t fixing this for people, and they need to create a ticket to -maybe- get it corrected.

When I first opened my Vault this week, there’s 2x ilevel 226 for 4x dungeons I completed. But I was undecided on which to pick so I ran sims first. And when I get back to pick my loot, the Vault bug’d out. The next day, it came back and it showed the same 2x ilevel 226 I saw the first time. I picked it up and it worked.
