Yeah no way in heck am I doing that one. I go to the end since the Earth to complete that Quest due to the Highland Drake drop. I WILL get that armor

Hot take there shouldn’t be portals. Events are quite literally the only thing you need to travel the world for anymore in this game so please don’t take it away.

There actually is a portal to a nearby location if you ask a friendly mage… :wink:

(…might want to bring a parachute, though!)

I think I need a break from SOD, I did that quest in Tanaris. At this point I don’t even know who I am.

Is this real life? Or is this just fantasy?

I literally just fly south out of UC. Of course the game mini map/big map puts me in oblivion where I don’t exist until I hit Silverpine/Fenris

That’s how I got there. Just used my Dalaran portal and floated down to the ground.

But then how do I bask in the glorious knowledge that I have made the superior choice of mobility in the game.

The few seconds of slow fall certainly out weighs the time wasted of others that had to… Fly to their location. It makes me cringe thinking that I could of chosen a class that can not open a portal or teleport.

I do believe the Aerie Peak mole machine location comes in handy this time of the year.

Omg I always forget about that portal….lol thank you for reminding me. Just have to remember to tell the lock that joins me on quests to make sure he has parachutes.

I literally flew out of Ironforge, put on auto run in that direction, and watched netflix until I was in Hillsbrad. Like… there’s nothing engaging about it. Now I’ve been standing here with about 60 other people waiting on the thing to spawn. Would much rather a portal or a queueable event, because all this does is strong incentivize me not to do it, especially on multiple toons.

Edit: Killed him about 30 seconds after I finished typing this, got the armor for the highland drake on first attempt, will not go back to do it again lol.

The real crime is alliance having to fly all the way out to frostridge…wait a minute that just reminded me of the ogre portals…but i dont have them on everyone lol
