I was brutalizing teams today and I just thought to myself how rewarding this class is in BFA if you are a veteran on the class.
Now I’m not talking about assassination. As far as I’m concerned assassination rogues are not real rogues. Good players should never die to an assassination rogue. It is a beginner friendly specialization for rogues and should be counted out. I’m taking about sub. With good gear and years of experience, this spec in 8.2 is obscenely superior to everything else. Especially with crucible of flame and high mastery.
Thanks to the developers and their global cooldown changes and nerfs to other classes this has made rogues so much better this expansion. I simply just feel so happy playing a rogue nowadays especially in 8.2.
Casters can’t even get spells off. Warriors get eviscerated. Healers can’t cast for 40 seconds. Ret paladins get obliterates. All leading to great damage. I absolutely adore rogues in 8.2 and it has saved this expansion for me.
Battlegrounds are so much fun and it’s so amazing to see the vast Gulf of damage and control this spec possesses over everything else. They other classes simply can’t compare.

oh come on we still have flare, lol. only 1 exp pac in the beginning a rouge was a free kill, MOP. Demon Hunters are worse.

Sin seems pretty lack luster in battlegrounds.
Sub is pretty fun and it seems to suprise a lot of people because they are used to sin rogues. No wound poison kind of sucks though
Maybe I’ll bother to set up my action bars for subtlety when the spec can spread mortal wounds in BG’s with FoK

I tried the high Mastery for a couple of weeks and while you do have amazing Eviscerates and it is fun I had a problem closing the deal.
I went back to a balanced albeit higher Crit build. For my playstyle in WPVP and BG’s I am closing the deal consistently.
When I go to Ashran the first thing I do is get the Song Flower. With that buff I just slay people without question. So it wouldn’t take much for Blizzard to fix Subtlety and make it the Sub Rogue we all remember.
remember when you could put your pet on aggressive and it would take off after rogue’s? That’s when the pet was on a mission.

i’ve always felt that the removal of aggressive mode from pets was due to a rogue paying off the devs.

no, they would find rogues in stealth and be on them like stink on a monkey.
basically stealth was useless

Sick of hunter pets bugging through stealth.
pets could sniff them out
I mean I tried to wipe better. Hard to get clean when we live in Dalaran sewers.
