It's absolutely not fair! Dev's like horde more

How are there still Alliance players? Roll Horde. It’s what the devs want.

Oh I see, what you are saying is that Alliance win, but just like with the Blizzcon Q&A, the devs tell you out of game you won, while Horde victories are shown in game.

Better get back to the novels then. I’m sure someone will write about the Alliance winning there so they can get back to making more Horde content.

Yep. Alliance won it back, but its still stuck in Cata state because they havent updated the zone.

It’s not the same Lich King. I’m not sure about Ner’zhul, but Arthas didn’t stay inside the helm. His spirit went to the Maw to be tortured, and we’ll probably fight/free him in Shadowlands.

Bolvar was never said to be as a good of a fighter as Arthas or Sylvanas. Both of them were the best of the best from their kingdoms.

First of all, you dont have BFA…so you wouldnt see any of them to begin with.

Second, books are an extension of lore. If you dont want to read THE FREE BOOK…then dont try to cry “IT DONT COUNT”.

Hey if you wanna play a faction that gets nothing in game because everything happens in books then more power to you. Me? I just play the game.

Oh interesting. its been on fire since cata?

Like Stratholme has been on fire since Classic.

Its a free short book on the Blizzard website, besides you dont even have BFA…so what game are you even playing?

yikes. just realized that.

Take notes, Alliance players. You’re the ‘book faction.’

This is why you dont use gameplay mechanics as indications of lore, because it makes the person look very stupid.

Horde has some books too. In fact, thats where most of your NPC characterization comes from.

You’re right, his mace is definitely cooler looking than Frostmourne.

dude, its absolutely dumb as a box of rocks to make excuses for making faction specific stuff in a mmorpg, be only viewable in a book. that’s ridiculous. quit making excuses.

Thats not an excuse. Literally you get most of the lore pre and post War of Thorns from the two free novellas, because they can only put so much in a game (apparently). Saying that the books having lore is ridiculous is like saying the Game of Thrones series having a lot of its lore being books as ridiculous.

Heck most of the Starcraft lore comes from books.

If you cant or will not accept that there is free outside lore available to you as people try to make lore arguments, you dont have an argument in good faith and rely on game play mechanics to frame one.

That explains a lot to me, many of the devs are Horde players, and they don’t like writing Alliance in-game as their support role in-game shows. So they obviously hand them off to authors to work on. While they get to continue making in-game Horde storylines.

its not an online ebook game. thats the frosting on the cake. not the cake.

Its supposed to be frosting, its supplementary lore.

Well then if Horde win something in game, and Alliance win something back in a book and its never shown in game, does that mean the Alliance storyline is supplemental?
