How in the insert expletive here is it 2019 and the battle of gilneas is still bugged. I’ve tried to do it 5 times today with 8 other people. If you guys arent going to fix your game, can we at least get an option to skip it??
You might want to explain what bug you experienced.
After beating that one elite mob near where you meet up with Crowly, the Prince of Gilneas does not move from that spot and eventually despawns. This kicks all active players from the battle forcing them to start the battle over only for the same problem to arise again. Furthermore, the horses in all of Gilneas are bugged because they won’t travel on their route correctly or at the speed they used to. The whole zone is fairly laggy compared to the rest of the game.
Just tried doing it 6 times, nothing has changed or improved (obviously). Once, we got as far as Sylvanas, and then she did her knockback and then everybody just stood around until we got warped back to the bridge to start over.
I just played this tonight for the first time in a while. I experienced a lot of lag and every quest I did was bugged in some way. I looked it up first and found bug reports about this from OCTOBER of last year. I don’t know why we don’t have a finished product from a multi-million dollar company.

The Prince doesn’t move or the battle will repeat over and over. Nothing will change.

I am experiencing a similar problem. I couldn’t get the battle to start (the mob never moved into the city), so I tried rushing in myself to see if they would follow. Now I am stuck in a dying loop because every time the spirit healer brings me back, I spawn in a location filled with enemies and immediately die again. Is there any way to fix this?

Yup with a band of about 8 people all stuck in this quest right now, Liam just stops, even despawns. Hoping for a miracle like a few news articles on how careless this demonstrates the WoW dev team to be. Or maybe at least give an effing response. Its been this way for years apparently which is ridiculous.

Is it even possible to get through this zone at all? I tried on a worgen mage but the battle for gilneas city kept bugging with npc despawns. I tried about 5 times.
This like Exalted Achievements/Mount Count has been going on for 1+ year with no fixes. Blizzard is aware of it, but just doesn’t care enough to fix them. I have complained about these things for 1+ year myself, so why keep playing I’m unsubbed till they fix these issues I refuse to play a game where sooo many issue’s are unresolved and they only care about making money off boosts/pets/expansions while basic game mechanics are broke for 1+ year.
