Sounds like me when I first started multiboxing 
I was constantly getting stuck on fences, trees, the corners of doorways as I went in because I’d try to cut close to the door to reduce the total running distance to get to the NPC(shaving off milliseconds!), I’d leave team members behind and they wouldn’t get quest credit so I’d have to run them to the quest and redo quests 
Now I’m conditioned to MB life and I play like there’s a team with me even when I’m solo lol.

And bullying in game is reported thru the game help system. Theres no need to report REAL issues in game on this forum. They would be told to report it in game if they did start a thread in here and you know it.

Saw a dozen boomkins farming those fast spawning murlocs in Azuna last week. It was a freaking light show.
Do what I do… Record them. Put them on your YT channel with the commentary and show potential players and subbies the grief they are coming back to. Even if a small % of the 87k people on the channel say “not for me”, eventually, the rules will have to change when $$ are lost.

Title - It’s 1:55 AM server time and I can’t get a damn BC quest done because of multiboxers
Line 1 - multiboxing is cancer
Line 5 - because boxers are farming primals
if it was about botting, wouldn’t those lines have said botting instead of multiboxing?

No wonder things go to heck in a hand-basket. Person starts mentioning vanilla ice cream and you think they are talking about vanilla ice cream when in reality they were talking about chocolate.
Actually Dex, there IS a difference. If someone’s botting or boxing & farming quest mobs, they aren’t going to kill what’s needed & leave. They’re going to continually denude the area of those mobs, thus preventing legitimate questers from completing their quests. This can be particularly annoying if that quest is required in order to progress through a zone.
It absolutely WOULD be different. Did you forget that you can’t complete quest objectives in a raid group? Once you hit 6 players, you have a raid. So a group of 8 people in an area (as you stated “grouped up”) are NOT questing simply because they CAN’T. They’re farming.
No one has a right to any part of a zone over another player HOWEVER, there is this little thing called common courtesy. If you’re boxing & you see a single player in the same area, it’s polite to either stop what you’re doing til that person finishes their quest(s) & moves on OR send a tell & ask, “Hey, are you farming these too or are you trying to quest?”. And yes, before you say it, there is NO reason why OP (or anyone else in this situation) could not ALSO send a tell - I’ve done it myself, “Hey, will you let me know when you’re done with these so I can do my quest? I’ll just wait right over here…” Usually, I’ll get a response back telling me to carry on & please let the farmer know when I’m done.
OP, I’m sure the person farming is doing it at 2 a.m. because s/he figures there will be less people on trying to quest. I know how frustrating it is to have someone constantly gather up the mobs you need for your quest too. If it happens again, try sending a tell to the boxer. If you get an answer, you know that the person is in fact a boxer & hopefully you’ll be able to work something out that benefits you both. If you get NO response though, you can be fairly certain it’s a bot & at that point you report EVERY ONE OF THE CHARACTERS. Sadly, once they finally get banned they’ll just create new accounts & start over again, but at least you’ll get immediate satisfaction for reporting & some peace when they get the boot.

I have all of my chatting things turned off. I can’t see if someone is talking to me through the game. That includes whispers, channel invites, and guild invites. I can get messages from Acti / Blizz though. Because they are the only ones that matter to me.
3rd post in, stating it is bots.

The conversation evolves as it goes on.
Rocky was playing bumper bowling. Attempting to guide people towards a goal line of his design, more akin to his views. Any time someone would make a point about botting, he’d insult them, then go on to make a point about “boxxing”.
Edit: My initial posts specifically were about botting, which were in response to posts about botting. So, yes, this is about botting at this point, or it’s at least an adjoining point.
Multiboxers are a plague and deserve to be dealt with

They are / have been dealt with?
Acti / Blizz current stand is that while they don’t actively support it. It’s fine to do as long as no TOS / EULA rules are being broken.
I suppose it could be like lot’s of things. Sometimes things are dealt with in ways we like, and sometimes things are dealt with in ways we don’t like.
I don’t know what the ant-boxing community could say that could get Acti / Blizz to change their mind. Maybe get them to limit the number of accounts that could be linked up in a boxxing session? Not sure how they could enforce that, but maybe something worth looking into?
oh boy… i must get reported a whole bunch.
if a random messages me, i mostly just go on with what i’m doing.
i can’t even begin to imagine how many times i was reported for slaughtering Shakes O’Breen for days on end while watching movies
