Itemization in wow

so d4 is getting a huge itemization rework and it looks very good so good that i think it should be in wow or something on the same level interesting loot with unique stats that is specialized to whatever build you might be and or different procs

think about some of the old iconic items of wow like unstoppable force or whirlwind axe
or even some utility drops like mind control helmet we don’t see stuff like that anymore
it’s just kinda boring and flat now and it doesn’t have to be

I am all for interesting loot, but i don’t think that would work in WoW. Community is far too fixated on Ilvl. Anytime in the past where a higher ilvl item isn’t an upgrade people have complained about it.

I think keeping the games as separate as possible is the best. If you add D4 itemization in wow, it just doesn’t feel right. I’ve kind of felt this way through all the Diablo style changes wow has seen.
