I was just going through Stormwind on my Dracy after finishing a dungeon and obtaining some Flightstones and I got to thinking. Why don’t we have Item upgrader NPC’s in Capital cities like SW and Org? Wouldn’t that make lesser used cities like Silvermoon, Ironforge, Exodar, and Thunder Bluff more visited areas?
Check with Voidbinder Sturzah in SW (Canal by Cathedral iirc) and Voidbinder Zorlan in Org (Drag). They used to be able to do Item upgrades. I know a lot of the old Item Upgrade NPCs got changed to where they work with the new systems as well. So these might work in SW and Org for the newest type of item upgrading.
I know Shadowlands+ and maybe BFA+ all the Item Upgrade vendors work the same. Been a few weeks since I was at the BFA vendor but think I could upgrade my current gear there.
Just found Sturzah and they actually don’t have any interactions at all. Zorlan doesn’t appear to have any either.
They want players to congregate in the new city of the expansion (in this case, Dornogal).
its gonna sound Korean but item upgrades should be made on the UI no need for npcs just open menu upgrade and done.
maybe u need to be on rested area…but meh
Yeah. That’s reasonable. But not everybody really likes to or wants to go to those cities. I can’t say with honesty that I enjoy Dornogal more than I did Valdrakken. Heck, even Oribos was better than those two. It’d be nice to get revamps of the old cities that everyone knows and loves. Like turn Lordaeron/Undercity in to something new. We already know Teldrassil is coming back someday too.
