Still in the game. And that is a good thing. People whine about borrowed power being a thing, and then the moment when systems remain active past pre-patch they wonder why they are still working. Essences and azerite gear are no different than investing toward bis pieces.

Darn, my mythic geared mage and shaman will explodify (It’s a word now) the shadowlands maybe like 5% slower now.

Isn’t borrowed power / power creep necessary if new expansions are to expand upon gear?
It’s either they add abilities temporarily (each expansion) or they keep on adding and then they have to crunch in 2-3 expansions (MoP to WoD for a few classes or WoD to legion for the rest).

LOL “tuning adjustments” you mean: Just nerfing now, so as we level up to 60 and get weaker as we go, flashbacks of BFA will ensue as they double down yet again.

It feels really good to level currently. Unfortunately, until like 58, if you high end raided and M+, you wont replace your gear for most of the leveling process.
Almost everything is not a upgrade through bastion, mald, and like halfway through arden

Cool. Lame for everyone still trying to get a last ditch mount or something, but whatever.
If you’re gonna nerf people’s trinkets, maybe at least make Miniscule Abomination in a Jar functional to compensate? The proc currently doesn’t do anything.

With the nerf you will be replacing it, instead of just going into SL with an empty slot. They don’t have to lower the stats on AZ armor as you will naturally upgrade them over time. I hit 60 and my HoA and cloak are still holding pretty strong.

Don’t make the new stuff better; make the old stuff worse.
Level 50 SL mobs are easily dispatched while wearing item level 50ish gear.
