IIRC there used to be an item you could use inside of a random bg / random dungeon that would let you change your talents. i completely forget the name though. i think it was tome of something.
any1 know if this item exists or anything similar?

It was an inscription consumable that allowed you to change that, but it is no longer required because you can change your talents anytime during a dungeon or BG, except in rated content (mythic+ for example).

I know what you’re talking about, there used to be these books that’d let you respec.
Aha, I’ve found it: Tome of Tranquil Mind, from Legion.
They’re useless grey items now, because we can re-spec at will.

yeah but these things used to let u change talents in middle of random bg. now u cant. once the bg starts the talentsr locked in =(
