I have the following macro that I have used for a long time:
/castsequence reset=30 6, Aspect of the Cheetah
The 6 is my belt equipment slot which I have my Engie’s Nitro Boost. But, when I put a Domination Gear in that slot, it will not trigger. I have to type out the name of the gear in-order for it to work.
/castsequence reset=30 Coiled Stygian Grapnel, Aspect of the Cheetah
I have multiple items I use in that slot so this becomes a hassle. Any help would be great. Thanks in advance!
So, yeah, I just tested this myself, and you’re right: the macro definitely doesn’t work for Domination Gear (but does work for other types of gear). Seems like there’s some type of functionality with the gems or whatever that’s causing an unintended side effect with macros.
I’m no macro expert myself, unfortunately; I don’t even use them in my normal day-to-day gameplay. But you might want to write a separate post in the Macro Forums for advice. Maybe somebody found a way around it so you don’t have to write the item name in the macro itself.
In the meantime, you might also want to report the bug via the in-game bug report. That’ll increase the likelihood that the devs hear about it.
