I tried to get an item restored. It was not available for restoration. Many many many others were. I wonder why the one item I have need for the first time ever for restoration can’t be done. 1 item. Ive been playing since BC. That’s a lot of 15 bucks a month and they can’t help me with one item. Hell they ought to just give me another for being a loyal customer. Oh well Thanks Blizz.

There is a time limit for restorations. I dont remember what it is but its in the ballpark of months.
As the guy posting before me said, there is a time limit on recovering items. Higher quality items I.e. epics have a longer time you can restore them up to (iirc) 1 month. Where as grey/white items have much much much less time to be restored.
Don’t delete carrot-on-a-stick, folks.

Hmmm it was an epic in my bank that was there a month ago I’m sure. Oh well thanks for the info.
If it was there a month ago it would be listed on item restoration, just go through the lists. they are there for a long time. I restored some blue item IIRC like 2 month after realizing I sold it to vendor on accident. I don’t have epics, that’s mostly raiders, but I hear those stay for much longer.
i just checked mine, i can restore items from a year ago. looks like they stay there for a year. so if you did delete it, it’ll be listed there. otherwise just look through your inventory and bags and mail, they are easy to miss.
It seems to cap out at a certain number of items. Sometimes I can go weeks and still restore an item, but if I’m farming a lot stuff can be pushed off pretty fast.
i’d like them to be separate for retail and classic. using one puts a cd on the other. 
I did the same thing and it will NOT restore the white items I sold by accident…10 minutes later. Lesson learned. I feel your pain.
