I got the sets of books from Dornogal and went to place them in a bookcase. After resizing them to fit, I exit out and they move up and go back to their original size, only when placed in the bookcase. I have not had problems resizing other books, just seems to be those particular books. Is there a work around?

I’m here for the answers in the comments. I’ve had unique problems, like I was pushing a fountain into a wall because I only wanted half. Then it would jump back out to full size!

If you have the grid on, try to angle your camera to be able to see it. Anything that makes the grid red will do this. (This is more applicable to trying to put things through walls/floor, but also doors are bugged.)
Have you also tried resizing the object like on the floor, then using the advanced tools to move it into position? This has helped me work around weirdness in some places.
