Item model changed?

Hey everyone, so I used the “Ritualistic Shoulderguards” from the quest “Hell Hath a Fury”. When I went to change into the transmog I have those shoulder set in I noticed something was off about it. I did some looking and I found that the shoulders for the set used to look completely different than they do now. Is it normal for Blizzard to just change the model of an item?

I’d give you the link to show what they look like now vs what they used to look like but best I can do is say if you look at the icy veins models for mail shoulders you can find the old model.

You are totally correct that they changed the look of these shoulders. I’d like them back to their old look, too.

It’s not normal, but if it happens, it usually takes blizzard an xpac or three to do anything about them.

There was a running list at one point of visually bugged items, and I think I added that one.

To add insult to injury, the same xmog outfit I used the old ritualistic shoulderguards in, also had its heroic firelands fire crown completely disappear.
