Item-Given Druid Forms

Quick question yall; item-given druid forms.

Can you think of any examples where a questgiver gives you an item that turns you into a druid form? I know there are some in quests, but I can’t think of many examples off hand.

Edit: Examples so far

  • Leave no Tracks “Take this figurine, it’ll help you avoid being detected while you gather intelligence.”

  • In Worg’s Clothing “I have devised a magical disguise that will make you appear as a worg while you are within the Rivenwood.”

  • As the Crow Flies “I will use my magic to mold your shape to one more suited to scouting the marsh.”

I don’t really remember any Quest items… hmmm

What about Fandral’s Flamescythe?

I fail to see how this goes in the Story Forums though.

First one off the top of my head is this one:

Maybe… I’ll take a look

The alternative is the “Roleplay and Fanfiction” forum. I’m referring to lore, and quests.

Fair enough, General Discussion ain’t that far fetched either by the way.

Also, might wanna check the bottom of this page for more ‘‘Non-consumed player transforming items’’

Awesome, I knew that one existed, but I didn’t remember enough to find it!

Hmm… maybe there’s also Item-assisted druid forms to consider as well? Considering the Legion artifacts and the lore behind them, and the “Fang of Goldrinn” that was turned into the Scythe of Elune. Items such as these that druids draw from or focus on to take that druid form.

Not a quest giver, but there is a toy you can buy in Val’Sharah that slowly turns you and everyone around the item into moonkin for a few minutes.

I love that thing. I always whip it out during dance parties.

That’s a thought. There’s the Moonfang’s Paw toy as well. Though I’m looking at questgiver stuff mostly because if it’s in a quest, it’s canon, and can be used to support a roleplay idea.

Every time I’ve used it, it’s only affected me.

Other players need to be in your party. I don’t think it was always like that, but that is what happened at my last roleplay event.

Zen’Kisin whipped out his big mojo totem and only he and the three people in my group transformed.

Was still fun though.

Probably you’ve used it with people who realized what was happening.

Everytime someone does it, I delete the feather buff that will make me avoid being trasnformed. Because I hate looking like a fat chicken.

I feel like there might be more than just these three… but that should be enough to support a roleplay idea.

There’s also the noblegarden stuff, eggs turn you into a rabbit and quests say its druid magic. But I can’t find a solid example in quest text.

Sort of referenced here:

Noblegarden, celebration of life and spring! I hope you’ve been enjoying the egg hunt, friend, because I could use the services of a capable individual like you.

I’m not certain what form of magic was used in the creation of the eggs, and the druids aren’t keen on explaining it to me. Perhaps you could collect some shell fragments for me during your egg collection. You can keep the contents of the eggs; all I require is a sufficient sample of the eggs themselves.
