Any chance we can deal with the item duping in this game people are abusing the buy back Item restore mechanic in the game to get 2 Trash blades… seriously this is not in the spirit of the game. Also people in TBC are doing the same with rep rings…
It’s literally just on a vendor that sells you your “lost” quest reward. Except it doesn’t have to be lost. I just watched a clip of a guy turning the quest in and immediately buying the 2nd sword. It’s not duping in any sense. It has nothing to do with buy back or item restoration.
The rep rings are closer to duping, as you were never intended to have more than one of each Brood of Nozdormu / Violet Eye / Scale of the Sands ring. But that’s been left unfixed since AQ40 so it seems like they don’t care.
I am very aware of how it works and it is not intended and exploiting in both cases.
Literally nothing you said in your original post would indicate that you have any understanding of how people are getting double Thrash Blades. It’s not duping and has nothing to do with buy back or item restoration. You literally turn the quest in, and can immediately buy the 2nd sword from the questgiver. There is no exploiting involved. Why you can do this, I don’t know, but get your facts straight.
