Hi Blizzard. Since the overnight patch, something weird has happened to items in my bags. This only started after I bought and learned the new tailoring recipes.
Every item in my bags is colourless (i.e. black and white). This makes navigating the contents of my bag more difficult than it sounds. I hadn’t realised how much we relied on things being in colour!
If anyone else has found this bug, please speak up. The only way to fix it is to use an item (for example, swap two items), and even then it only returns colour for that one bag.
Update: A complete restart of the client seems to have fixed this issue. Any other tailors out there, if this happens to you, after you learn the new recipes, fully exit and restart.

Reporting in that I have the same bug. Restarting the client may temporarily fix it, but it always comes back up again. Other temporary fixes include swapping item in a bag for that individual bag to regain colour (not all of them).
It is definitely quite irritating.
It usually happens to me when I swap a rune. You can click every item in your bags to return the colour but it will just grey out again.
I usually swap a rune and then relog if I have to, but usually the rune part does it.

It also happens to me and its also when swapping a rune on my gloves

Ran into this issue just earlier today. Only fix was to log out of WoW and relog back in.

Same issue has happened to me with a couple different toons. Log out - log in fixes the issue…
Quick update, when switching or adding runes, the bag items will blink to black and white. The bug me and others have encountered seems to keep the items it colorless upon the completion of adding/switching runes.

This is still happening for me too, quick searched my bags for a health pot and couldn’t find it quickly due to this issue, how is this not fixed and still an issue over 6 months later???
This happens when you unsuccessfully try to apply a rune (clicked on the wrong item type, tried to apply in combat, changed your mind and deliberately interrupted the cast bar, etc.)
To fix it, just apply a rune successfully.
