I am. And I do.
But I don’t say anything mean or do anything mean to those players, I just avoid them (on my own, without being mean)

But I don’t say anything mean or do anything mean to those players, I just avoid them (on my own, without being mean)
(because I also recognize that it isn’t logical. It just is how I play & I don’t have fun being around those players. So I just dont subject myself to that)
how can there be an old way if there is no other way?
anyway give us fel cats
This is the character I unlocked the mage tower on (for disc priest). Biggest mistake of my life. Wish I would’ve played a feral but, I was a kid back then.
I guess I was being optimistic and wishful. But yeah, that’s the only way.
either way, some of these folks sense of pride in their achievements is getting a little overbearing. They earned a skin, they didn’t save the pope.
seriously though, would a title or an achievement not be enough? if for instance they released the skins and instead gave some kind of badge of honor to prove you “ERNED” them the “original” way.
bc that’s basically their entire argument; how would anyone know i achieved this cool thing if i don’t have the skin to show it? - Well Congrats, now there’s an exclusive title.
Problem solved! everyone’s a glitterkitty! and the high achievers still have their little badge! everyone’s happy!
Only it wouldn’t actually go that way. The title would not be enough. they want the skins to be permanently exclusive so they can lord them over everyone that wasn’t around to earn them. They just pretend it for nobler reasons. - And that’s why they’re bitter, and frankly need to get over themselves.
My Point presenting itself
Edit2: my “point” was made by the whole of my response. You just conveniently appeared from the woodwork to bring it all together. And I’m not crying. I’m patiently hoping. and that isn’t something you can sour.
 Salty child
 Salty child
Horrible trade. A title is way less cool.
Your point was made as an edit while I was typing my response. Just fyi, I don’t have the weapon skin I wanted the most which was the glaives on my DH. But keep crying you can’t have something others do.
But none of that has anything to do with the fact that it was never advertised as limited time.
Why are you comparing a limited time event to an event that was not? That makes no sense.
It’s not just supposed to be about it being “cool”. If ever something like that happened, a modicum of maturity and humility would be required from half the playerbase, which tbh is impossible. Yall are too weird about incredibly specific things. The point would be sharing the aesthetic so everyone can enjoy it. It’s altruism.
You’ll get over it.
Or we wont. Tbh people seem to be very divided over the topic, and Blizz isn’t blind to that. They may Band-Aid the situation and put it off for a few years, but if the Player base continues to be vocal about it, they’ll most likely find a way to address it at some point.
So until then, continue being bitter booboo. I don’t even know you irl, but from your comment alone, you sound insufferable.
I think logging into the free forms is bad.
The forms not being available to earn at all in retail is equally as bad, if not worse.
exactly. we should at least be able to earn them.
Oooo they typin
Funny part is, I played during legion and didn’t get the weapon skin I wanted the most on my DH. I’m just not a child who has major fomo.
You’d think after this being a contentious issue since basically BFA they’d have added it already or you know, in remix, if they were going to. But they didn’t. You can keep calling me names all you want, it really doesn’t effect me.
I called you insufferable bc you’re overly rigid in your thinking. and that’s insanely hypocritical given the fact that you play a game that has been worked and re-worked over the years for the sake of player-satisfaction.
But for some reason, this is the hill you choose to die on. And now to find out that you don’t even have a stake in that battle? you would just prefer for people to continue going without something that should be freely-accessible by this point. and for what? the principle? - Please… spare me.
Unless you’re not benefitting from any of the older features that blizz has re-worked or re-introduced to be more easily accessible for all players, you don’t really have the right to gate-keep. I even bet your blood elf has blue eyes.
No, again I don’t have fomo and believe somethings should remain exclusive. Has nothing to do with a hill or whatever you’re making up about me in your head, nor am I gate-keeping. I can’t even gate-keep when I don’t even have the thing lmao. This blood elf does. My paladin has gold eyes though. Weird bet though.
Again you’ll get over it. Sorry cupcake.
I’m making assumptions about you based off of your attitude on the situation. They humor me, but im willing to bet money that I’m not that far off about you. People like you tend to be predictable.
And that “bet” was to illustrate that you’re kind of a hypocrite, at least in this sense. People argued for years over the addition of High Elves. Half the playerbase wanted them, whereas the other half had quite a similar argument to our current one, as to why they shouldn’t be added. in short, they were also told to “get over it”. And for years after that, people never acrually thought blizz would give us anything in that regard.
and yet there you are, enjoying those blue and gold eyes. A feature that was afforded to you by the very same principle of compromise that you now have a moral objection to. You’re a giant hypocrite and you don’t even realize it, cupcake.
They sound insufferable.
You’re just a very sad angry person aren’t you? I kinda pity you. Your assumptions (while very wrong) do nothing to me. The eyes thing is super weird dude. It has nothing to do with enjoying and just using a customization that’s available to everyone. A horrible comparison and a far reach to prove your very poor point.
Actually, I’m normally a very non-serious person. and tbh, I don’t really feel much of an emotion at all right now.
I just believe that the bitterness of some shouldn’t be a limitation for others, especially in a setting that’s been subject to compromise and change for years. My first proposal about a title would technically achieve everything that everyone wants. The people that did the mage tower in legion would have their recognition. And everyone else would have access to new customization for their enjoyment. In theory both parties should be satisfied, because after all… “recognition” is the basis of that particular argument, right? But like you yourself said… that isn’t enough, bc nothing short of those skins would be. and why is that? - for a sense of achievement that can only be enjoyed through the envy of others. And I’m sorry… but that’s a very small, sad, and angry way to feel.
And I honestly don’t care what my assumptions do to you. I’m not actually trying to hurt you… I’m just being honest about the air you convey.
And my comparison was less about how identacle those two instances are, and moreso about how common it is in WoW for old concepts to be done away with, in favor of something more progressive and player-friendly. And in that regard, my point was dead on.
You want to talk about hypocrite, you’re the shining example of that tbh. If you can’t see why, well you’re just blinded by anger. Hope you feel better soon bye
