Except that WoW is killing itself…
Oh btw, Kakio read one of your posts in a video of his yesterday. Thought you’d like to know.
I want to use the HNNNNNG meme with his toons face on it.
That’s what people don’t get. Blizz put WoW in it’s current situation. Not FFXIV. FFXIV always gets an influx of players for each patch or expac, then people stop until the next patch.
And FFXIV players never came here to dog on WoW. It was always bitter WoW players trying to get the forums going.
People also don’t get that with patch cadence of both, there’s room for more than one MMO and many people play both.
proove me this statement
What proves it is that Steam came out afterward and most people were never playing on Steam and play on the launcher. It never is for any game that has cross play or different versions.
It was the same for Marvel Heroes (another game I played). Their core launcher didn’t even work right. But people still refused to use the Steam version.
Well yeah Blizz screwed it up and FF was just there to take the fed up players away and it still is.
True, on all accounts. The problem is that a lot of…how do I put this politely? “Nerf herding basement monkeys” never tried other games and only stuck to WoW. I couldn’t picture only playing one game for near 2 decades, but that’s where a lot of the problem comes from. They come in and tribalize every aspect they can…and honestly it just makes all of us look bad, and I mean all of us in the entire sphere.
i don’t know , when the game had a huge boost , people were like wow look at FF14 steam numbers , it’s popping off !
when the game lose huge amount of players , steam numbers don’t matter , they don’t show anything on the actual state of the playerbase overrall it’s only 10th of player numbers !
Steam numbers for an MMO do not matter in general, and matter even less if that mmo has a standalone launcher. Steam numbers do not matter here, your metrics do not matter because of it.
However, this bowl of ice cream I have does matter…so…brb
It was an amazing feat because Steam numbers are a very difficult thing to get a lot of players on. Even the highest played games do not have that many people playing versus other ways of playing games.
And I think one of the reasons for that is there are just so many games on Steam that people get more spread out on that platform. It’d be the same if WoW were on there.
What does wow have anything to do with FF? This game is crap no matter what happens to FF. Stop comparing to other games to justify your reason to play the game.
Hey! He did my Housing post in that video!
Lost Ark , new MMO had 1M3 concurrent players on Steam
i just find it weird , FF14 opened F2P in February and players number still went down on Steam
Yes, things that are new get that high. Nothing stays that way though. Not for long.
FFXIV is not f2p at all. It has a trial and has free weekends occasionally. It is not f2p.
still count in the total of players lol
I didn’t say it didn’t. I said it’s not f2p.
Hearthstone will never be bigger than Yu-Gi-Oh, lmao.
Pokemon > Yu-gi-Oh
Not the card game.
