I mean…alot of the censoring we got was because it offended the Chinese people so I mean maybe wow can be wow again and fruit bowls will become women again and undead can show there knee caps and the game will have a little elbow room to be T for TEEN again (look up the rating system on games, see what T for Teen is aloud to have before ranting)
Again it SUCKS to lose a 5, 10, 15 year accounting whatever it maybe but censoring a game the way they did just to keep that side of the fan base happy, but anger the rest was a bit messed up thing to do: Although I do it it, MONEY!

Which censoring was because of the Chinese market?
I am more or less saying and maybe its just me saying and my own theory which is 100% wrong when you censor one region of the game, it makes for easier to censor the other.
I am sure none of these made it state side, but we have our own things that got removed/censored and just like marvel removing things from movies to make “every market happy” even if it makes no sense, I can see blizzard doing the same thing just to do it because. these are clearly the censor/altered stuff from the Chinese servers, some are quite funny! never seen so many pillows? bags of sand? what even is that lol.

We didn’t get any censoring in our version because of China. The Chinese version was separate from our’s and run by Netease.
The fruit bowls thing was a result of them getting rid of things from the game that certain people had created that were guilty of sexual harassment or assault.

What censoring? Remember that some people in this forum throw a fit all the time because they get offended by two guys loving each other. Stuff like this would’ve been one of the first things to get censored out for China.
China got their own models and stuff, there was never a need to censor anything in NA and EU.
If you had actually followed the whole controversy and read one or another article you would know that this stuff had nothing to do with China.

Most of my Chinese friends use VPNs and play with US versions of the game anyways. They just have Chinese language packs installed is all. None of them were affected in the slightest.
