It’s wrathion not nzoth!

Wrathion is the one influencing sylvanas not nzoth you heard it here first!

But why? What would be his intentions?

Working right now and sparked an idea. I will get back to you with my hypothesis later tonight.

Yeah I’m really interested to hear this, and speculation about N’Zoth is so interesting, I’m excited!

I could see it… Wrathion could be motivated to build an army to combat the force that ultimately corrupted his Father and brought down his entire Dragonflght. Perhaps that is “The true enemy” of the Void.

But I don’t think so… I am not sure Sylvanas really needs an “influencer” pulling her strings like a puppet. Sylvanas is a puppeteer, not a puppet, and she doesn’t need any external motivations to want to raise more undead.

Even if this is true, something influenced Vol’jin, no? Whether Sylvanas is a pawn, I doubt she’s a solo player.

That said, Wrathion does not seem the type to have such otherwordly influence. I may underestimate the dragon, but I suspect Blizzard is setting up a…stranger accomplice for the Banshee Queen.

Not sure Wraithion would have the power to turn off Voljins Loa senses though but then again i dont think it was Nzoth that did that either…
Hes got his hand in somebodies pie but the question is who’s?

Honestly, it wouldn’t need to be a single iota of different from his MoP motivation, only with a different “coming enemy” to build a unified-through-bloodshed mega-faction to fight.

The unseen force wouldn’t necessarily need to be influencing Sylvy. If this force is Wrathion, and if his goal is the same as in MoP (but with a different threat in mind), just getting her promoted to Warchief would be enough. Cata Sylvy was raiding and blighting the EK. Nothing by Legion pointed to a change of heart for her. All Wrathion would need to do is expect Sylvannas to Sylvannas with a whole war machine behind her.

I’m not sold on it being Wrathion, mind. I’m just saying his motives would still be in-character from what we’ve seen, and picking Sylvannas would accomplish that end-goal from before.
