The name “High elf” doesn’t really mean anything anymore to be honest. High elves are not a coordinated whole, they do not share beliefs or goals with one another, and they can be found virtually in all walks of life. Yes they’ve gathered in multiple groups, but these groups are scattered and most seem content in their isolation. Even Quel’lithien wanted nothing to do with anyone, and virtually killed themselves after sucking all the dark magic out of some artifact and becoming wretched. lol
