It really makes me sad that vulpera is Horde

The cutest race in the game, adorable VO for the female, looks good in a lot of armor, they’re short (short races are best), they have a lot of class options…

But Horde. Ugh.

First, Horde is literally a bunch of violent psychopaths.

  • Orcs are genocidal aliens who wanted to wipe out all life on Azeroth just because. Even Mag’har orcs are violent psychopaths with no demonic influence.
  • Trolls are cannibalistic tribalists who participate in ritual sacrifice and are very happy to go conquering the world.
  • Undead are just straight up supervillains.
  • Tauren, as nice as they seem, have all sorts of coming of age rituals that involve going out and murdering things to prove how strong you are, and picked a fight with the centaur and lost.
  • BE were too happy to turn to Fel magic and potentially draw the legion to Azeroth to sate their addiction to magic (when high elves did just fine without).
  • Nightborn literally blew up the planet, and when asked to stay away from arcane magic (to avoid said planetsplosion) and be allowed to rejoin NE society, they stomped off in a fit.

Second, Horde “architecture” is a bunch of spiky mud huts with bones on them – like, orcs have all sorts of advanced machinery and have advanced races with them, but they act like cavemen.

Third, Horde goes on and on about honor, and it’s kind of irritating considering how little they have.

I really wish vulpera wasn’t Horde. My favorite race by far, but I just can’t handle Horde’s theme visually or lore wise.

Oh it’s another Neko thread.
On a sunday too.

2 for 2.

Another Alliance post where they want to take and demand more things from the Horde.

Blizzard, you truly have outdone yourselves. Look at the people you’ve enabled and tell me that it’s acceptable.

You torched our tents because we traded with people. Not a good first impression.

Maybe don’t go in with the napalm and flamethrowers next time and you can have some cute furry races on the Alliance in the future!

Vulpera were literally acting as a supply convoy for genocidal orcs invading NON-MILITARY villages and burning them down and murdering everyone in them. Alliance only did what was necessary to stop said supply line, they didn’t go and try to genocide the vulpera.

It wasn’t just trading with people.

I don’t think the Vulpera should even be included in the factions. Look how they’ve been completely irrelevant since BfA. And that’s where the allied races fall short: if they’re not integrated into the main races, it’s difficult to work with them.

You can’t really integrate vulpera anyway. They’re not aligned with Horde “values” (lack thereof) in any way. Same with nightborn, they’re just having a tantrum because of Tyrande.

Nah, Tyrande was terrible to them and thus I don’t blame the nightborne for choosing the side that showed them kindness over snubbing.

“Don’t risk blowing up the world again” is being terrible, I guess.

Horde tries to murder everyone on the planet every Tuesday, so blowing up the planet is a nonfactor to them.

Horde hasn’t tried to murder us all for two expansions.

I actually hoped we’d get them, i understand it wouldn’t have made much sense so far as the story was concerned, but that stuff doesn’t really bother me. The alliance needs something new and cute, my vote goes to Shadefur! (the new battle pet model that looks like an Ewok from Star Wars lol)

Culturally, politically, geographically, they fit into the Horde pretty well. I don’t see how they’d fit into the Alliance.

Maybe they could’ve been neutral, but that wasn’t the direction Blizzard wanted to go with them, so the Alliance burned their wagons, because attacking the enemy’s supply chain is a valid military tactic. Alliance side we had World Quests to ensure there were no casualties, but Horde side was another story.

BFA’s two-sided story-telling was a headache. Either way, Vulpera belong on the Horde moreso than the Alliance. Same as Sethrak, should they ever be made playable.

The fact that you hate it and you’re so upset they’re part of the Horde is delightful.

Alliance is ugh and a lot of you have really went above and beyond to reinforce that over the last few days.

Funny you say this while wanting our stuff and wanting our stuff and wanting our stuff in this case Vulpera.

The cringe from Alliance people at this point is unreal.

The fate of most Allied races. If they’re not orc or elf, they exist in their own little world that blizzard ignores.

“We’ve been oppressed by genocidal, warmongering slave drivers for generations!”

"Let’s join up with genocidal warmongers!

Make it make sense.

The fact anyone willingly plays Horde is depressing.

How many Alliance races have gone on genocides?

How many Alliance races willfully embraced Fel magic, risking the destruction of the whole planet?

How many Alliance races have “coming of age” ceremonies that involve murdering something?

Alliance literally has Gnomes, Mechagnomes and Void Elves, plus the unending Human potential stuff that’s more than enough to deter anyone from wanting to play that faction on any kind of full time basis.

No I meant more the fact that people think bloodthirsty, psychopathic cavemen is a cool theme, and they want to play the faction that espouses a complete disregard for life.
