Also why target a phone plan? The problem with bots in wow is they either lack the creative thinking to deal with the problem or their hands are tied, but I dont know; this is just me looking from the outside in.

you know the SMS depend on the country you type while creating the account NOT the region you’re playing on.
for example the bots form east asian can create account > choose their asian countries > put SMS with their asian phone numbers and add authentication then login wow us and play there.

one fella said he was not pre-paid, I am starting to think their system for sending SMS is borked, but in 2020 it was AVTI and the normal “things dont work” was very normal.
Now days everything is slowly becoming MS so the infrustructure quality will go both in a positive direction for that sort of thing but the play quality, your in game latency and “FEEL” will get worse as things transition over to Azur.
