It isn’t Timeless Isle

And I say this meanly as possible.

WoW is a terrible platformer and I hope whoever cooked up this jellyfish jumping puzzle clips through a staircase.

I mean, Timeless Isle had terrible platforming things too… so that’s not much of an argument.

They nerfed jelly jumping to be a lot easier

A shame they didn’t bother fixing clipping through things.

Jumping puzzles just don’t work in this game. If I wanted buggy and frustrating garbage I’d huff petrol and play old Rayman.

Totally agree this infatuation with jumping puzzles etc is ridiculous. If they want that type of game make it. Put it in Overwatch and see how that crowd likes it.

I find it crazy hard and have no idea what to do.

I hate those jelly fish too. I tried so hard and still couldn’t do it. Ah well, maybe tomorrow, maybe never.

The only jellyfish I do is the little jellyfish salad at my local Japanese restaurant. I do not do that silly jumping game as I have better uses of my time like say, sorting my lint collection.

I took one look at what was going on and walked away from it. Nothing says you have to do every WQ

As a person who made a thread on the jumpin jellies when it first appeared. That Asmon posted on and talked crap about this toon (an alt ). I’ll say it’s easier after the fixes they did. I was getting frustrated at first though yesterday. However I figured out what I was doing wrong. lol

But I can understand the hate for it. Ironically I prefer the runes WQ over the jellies one.

Timeless Ilse was great. So was Argus. But you know how it goes… both did things right so Blizzard had to break it.

If a dimwit like asmonbawd can do it on day 1 before any hot fix… there’s zero excuse for anyone else to do unless they are admitting to be worse at life than asmon.

C’mon, Tovi, you may have liked it, but you know perfectly well that people were crying about it all over these forums, from the ‘mobs hit too hard’ complaints to the ‘the terrain is terrible’ complaints.

The folks who are going to complain are going to complain no matter what the target of the day is.

I know, and I remember people complaining about Timeless Isle too, but I liked both of them.

I feel every “just like Timeless Isle” zone they’ve done since Timeless Isle has fallen short. Argus came very close though.

We’ve got another patch at least so this is just our Boring Snore. Here’s to hoping that whatever comes next can top Argus.

As someone who did the Jellyfish nightmare day one, it was MUCH easier the second time around. Having mid-air control helped a ton compared to vaguely suggesting where I should go.

Wacky things still happen, especially if latency is involved, but it’s much better than what it was.

I only saw it for the first time yesterday, although i saw a lot on the forums about it. It took me a few to figure out what to even do but i eventually got it.

Now I’m finding out its been nerfed already. I never got to see it when it was bad and I’m almost curious. >.>

I guess what I’m getting at is that it seems to me that it’s the same people who consistently complain about things. And often enough, the complaints are vapid, or utterly subjective, and it just gets tiring to hear.

I won’t try to claim that WoW is in a great place at the moment – I’m taking a break from it for the time being, after all – but when the complaints always seem to share a source, it becomes a little difficult to take them seriously, especially when they’re rife with hyperbole and vitriol.

The jellyfish world quest is the kind of quest I will complete after I get flying.

It’s perfect if you like glitches, luck, and rng.
