I support a future TBC release and all the joy it would bring. With that being said, it’s phase 1 of classic so give it a rest with all this TBC talk for a bit will ya? Jeez

I’m cool with it so that Blizzard sees people do want it.
This is the time to talk about it if ever. That way they can prepare for it in a reasonable time.
That being said though I aggressively do not want TBC servers. There’s no reason to fracture the player base between expansions when WoW is already part of a dying genera of games.
See saying you don’t want something just because you want more people to play classic instead seems not cool. I’m playing classic just hoping I’m part of a larger group supporting it for TBC. If Blizzard says no to TBC then I’ll be done with Classic. Not that I’m not enjoying it but I just know I prefer TBC.
No, I want a TBC server as soon as I can get one, so I can be reincarnated into the best race of Paladin: the Thalmor’ei.
We are in phase 1. Of six phases. It could be over a year before they even decide if TBC or Classic+ will even be a thing. Engaging in idle speculation now is pointless.
I hope it gets released, I want to see moar QQ about flying from the classic crowd.
I think the TBC trend comes from the expected crowd that is bored of classic
No it is not to early.
I have been playing Wrath for about 4 years on a private server.
Most of that time I stopped my xp just to play TBC.
The server I was on I felt it had the least amount of bugs and work a rounds.
Now this is my opinion.
Blizzard should be competing against the private servers for players.
Taking away Players from private servers will hurt them financially.
This could shut down the private servers.
The fastest way to achieve this would be to release TBC as soon as possible. As long as it is complete with no phases. The version of TBC would have to be the last patch and update of TBC.
This would also apply to all expansions if Blizzard wants more players.
Why you gotta bring logic into this…you know the forums run off inner feelings right?
It is not speculation about TBC.
Blizzard has said they will release TBC and I also heard Blizzard is releasing Wrath.
be it classic+ or TBC, whatever happens next blizzard will have to start planning soon, they’ll be looking for which the community would prefer.
You sir be happy, Blizzard is releasing TBC.
Also heard of Wrath coming out.
As I say. I came back to play Classic, will stay for Wrath.
I’m here for the same reason. I am enjoying classic quite a bit but I’m lending my wallet (twice, i have two accounts) to show Blizz that I enjoy them bringing back the old game. The moment TBC (and then WotLK) servers drop, I’m going there.
Source for either of those claims? Closest i heard was that in remaking 1.12, they did all the hard work for TBC making recreating TBC a much easier task than it was recreating vanilla.
I cAnT WaIt To PlAy DeAtHKniGhT… said nobody with a brain ever.
Blizzard said that they are keeping an eye on the community to see if we want TBC servers, since they have already done most of the hard work for them.
We are letting them know that there is a sizeable population that would very much like to see TBC servers released.
Many of us returned to support Classic in hopes that we would eventually see TBC or Wrath servers also implemented.
I have never understood this thinking… people will split off as they run out of things to do… you know that right? There is a base of players that will stay on classic forever… but there are a bunch that will simply get bored once they do Naxx and they will quit.
The player base will split no matter what… Blizz putting out BC or a Classic+ or whatever the option will be will keep people playing.
It’s too early from the standpoint of being anywhere near releasing any sort of TBC servers. However, it will take them a while to get them actually realized from a development standpoint, even with the groundwork laid by Classic.
Blizzard can definitely work on them for the future, but now is the time for the players to just sit back and enjoy Classic as it is.
No. Tbc brought in flying mounts. Flying mounts were the start of the game getting dumbed down and losing its way. We have a few years still of classic content release.
I don’t want classic to simply follow retail. That’s a failed direction.
