Blizzard… its been 20 years. We NEED to improve the game aesthetics for proper modernization into the next decade of WoW.
Please reposition weapon sheathing for Axes and Polearms.
Its REALLY goofy to have a polearm blade centered in the back and the pole 10 feet above our toon.
Take BOTH polearms and 2h axes and flip them blade facing upwards and position them in the middle of the back.
Can you imagine taking a pole arm or a 2h axe putting it on your back as it currently is in wow and running? You would be injured immediately and yes this DOES hurt immersion.
How has it been 20 years and polearms have been able to look like this the entire time…

Talking about that, maybe we could have actual scabbards/sheaths? It’s 2024, FFS…

I wanna see toggleable sheathing, within reason ofc.
like if I want a sword on my hip or back. I should be able to choose and theres no way this isnt possible.

The same goes for arrow quivers. We hunters got only half a dozen of those in 20 years and all of them are attached to the toon’s back (and most of times occupying the back slot 
).
IRL the quiver normally goes on the hip. It would be great to have that option (plus, Hunters should be able to equip them on the off-hand slot, so we cant have a quiver and a cape at the same time).

I agree completely. It makes me so sad to see other games do this stuff like FFXIV and have much more robust armor customization for RP players while blizzard had RPers on WoW going without for 2 decades. Its lame.

I’ve heard tell that back quivers were sometimes preferred for going hunting so the arrows weren’t swinging at hip height or something so as to not get caught on bushes and make noise. But for the most part you’re dead on the money and they were carried on hips or just stuck in the ground.
The back quiver thing is basically trading on Robin Hood iconography, probably from the Errol Flynn film. I mean I love it, but having some take a belt slot would be rad.

I would also love the option to hide weapons, I know they’d not normally just go poof and then appear when we need them but our mounts do just that, so just a thought.

I would also love a toggle for certain back pieces to not hide weapons. There are so many from SL that I can’t bring myself to use because they hide my 2H weapons and make my character look incomplete. I don’t care of it clips, it’s better than having the weapon gone completely.
I just posted about the Magmatic Volcannon and the Dream Raider’s (Azure, Blazing, Verdant, Shadowflame) Riffle sheathing upside down on my hunters. Would love a fix for that.
