Given how this keeps happening I’m of the mind that players with an active sub should get some kind of compensation; A free week and 500 Trader tenders would be appropriate given that we keep getting these insufferable assaults on the game.
I certainly question the validity of the DDOS.
When the streamer guild was raiding Hardcore Molten Core? Sure. I buy it.
But late at night on a Thursday when nobody is doing anything…? I just can’t fathom a reason why someone would choose now to DDOS.

Given how 11.1.5 released, and that I literally couldn’t log in (“CHARACTER NOT FOUND”) while the servers were up for over 12 hours, I am also quite suspicious.
They’re donkey portals that think it’s funny.
It’s right after the announcement for Puzzling Cartel Chips (Dinars) and that you need to do Mythic Raid to get the Mythic track items with them.
That’s almost certainly the reason why, imo.

Yeah this is extremely frustrating. Just came back about 2 months ago and this is not the first time I have been booted and cant log back in. The information links the error code send u to are way outdated and non helpful. Guess its time to really start looking after 20 years, just hard to let it go…these kind of issues especially in frequency make it easier.

Most people dont. I counted myself as someone who didnt, until i watched a few youtube explanations on what they are and why they are so difficult to prevent.
sad to say but i agree .
some people hate countrys for what ever so they go after their companies in differnt ways example ddos. you said it doesnt have but i gave you an example of it being more than possible. youd be surprised how petty people are.
And still stuck on retrieving character list, come on blizz is there no fix for this?
Look, I’m just a simple bovine in a casual guild that is progging heroic, nothing that challenging or fancy.
But it is beyond frustrating on our one raid night a week to have nearly 1/3 of our 20 person raid group on a select set of servers getting DC’d over and over and over.
We even tried to time it to get a pull in between the repeated DC’s for the folks on servers being hit, and we still couldn’t avoid them going offline late in the pull.
For the love of green Jesus, please Blizzard, do something about this recurring problem.
