At this point in the games development what is the point of two factions when players have already dog-piled to one faction and now it will never change. Even if Blizzard made the Alliance racials super OP, the player base will stay Horde because the population is there and it would still take time for the base to start making a move (which I doubt it will happen anyway).
So many players I see have moved to Horde during BFA for the convenience factor and I don’t blame them but it makes playing Alliance more pointless moving forward when most players want to play more M+ or pugging raids on their alts.
Something needs to be done in the near future.

As long as mechagnomes are only on the alliance, that’s where I’ll be too. I would love for these silly faction walls to be taken down, though.
I play the underdog. Wait, wasn’t Horde originally the underdogs?
What we need is more factions. Imagine a dozen factions. Why one race wholeheartedly jumps on the For the Alliance or For da Horde bandwagon beats me.

I would have to agree that it is a problem. I think the factions should remain in one form or another, but the barriers should be removed. Not all beings of Azeroth are part of the Horde or Alliance.

Eventually Blizzard will take note, when in another year or two and the Alliance is no longer able to unlock cross realm mythic raiding.

Hate to say it but I’ve moved my main to Horde side too. I have kept one active Alliance character to experience the alliance side incase there are plot differences.
All the people who got those faction tattoos…

Wait, what? I have a faction window sticker a couple years back and I still haven’t put it on my car. You are telling me people got their faction tattooed?
Get one of each faction on each hand. 
Imagine if they didnt have faction change in the shop like in the early days

it would still be a part of their personal history.
For those who started in vanilla, it would be coming up to 16 years of their life.
The tattoo would still hold meaning to them im sure.
Personal history that would be essentially invalidated bc people cant find groups using LFG.
Their experiences, time spent and enjoyed, friends made… that cant be invalidated.
I agree with this and I hope they finally let us do it, I mean, there won’t be a better time than right now, with two alliance puppets as racial leaders for the horde
That’s what they all say…
Allowing cross-faction PvE, guilds, etc… is pretty much the only clean solution. People will play whatever faction or race they want at that point.

Nope the factions should stay the way they are changing them would just end up with me and the people I play with to stop playing.

Well, it’s not as if the factions have to be completely removed, necessarily.
The option to for cross-faction grouping could definitely solve some problems, though.
