It is not possible to start the Bnet app

It is possible to access with the username and password, but the window does not load any content.
Only shows:
“Battle.net Update Agent went to sleep. Attempting to wake it up…”
I would like to play, before the 8 pdt maintenance.

Here are some things to try. I think this can be a pretty big range of things. You might start just by power cycling your network equipment, router and such to see if that helps. I just want to report that I solved it by reinstalling the app.
First. the app could not be uninstalled, but it didn’t matter, because revouninstaller gives the option to uninstall and then scan the program (advanced mode) and thus eliminate registry entries and files and folders.
Second. Download the app from the wow page and install it.
Third. the game works.
I remember this morning when I launched curseforge, to update the addons, something like pressing the F5 key happened and the desktop was updated, I never saw this happen every time I update the addons through the curseforge app, possibly it affected the blizzard app.

the blizzard app does have a cache or two that can get mucked up. sometimes just deleting those folders will restore function but it’s about as easy to just uninstall and reinstall so long as you get rid of all folders with it.
