Honestly though the fact that the forums are linked to a “per character” sort of deal and not across the whole bnet account is something I never understood.

It’s the forum model they went with. I miss the account wide forum posts tbh… so easy to catch trolls who switch toons

So if i didnt play classic and wanted to know some stuff or make a thread i would be feeling i shouldn’t attempt playing it due to how much people are jerks on these subjects. You shouldnt be able to post on your retail toon because someone might troll with them, even though you barely have to do any work and within ten posts we already debunked our own logic, but we will still give into fear and allow the terrible trolls run the forums! People should post on their classic toons to show credibility despite how much we talk about in vanilla there were no achievement or ilvls as milestones one had to pass. @OP: totally agree.

I play both, and I also have my original vanilla character that is still @ level 60, he’s far more valid than any classic character you can post on. He is the read deal.
